MIA’S POV I stayed in the shower a bit longer than I usually do. I thought after Rosie, Griffin would feel different about life, and finally, make peace with the past, but clearly, that small boy that was abused and unloved are still trapped inside him. I honestly don’t know how to help him, and he refuses to go see someone. Every time I’m mentioning a therapist, he bites my head off, so I stopped asking. The water turned called, and that’s my cue to return to reality. When I returned to the room, Griffin has Rosie wrapped in a blanket next to him. Both of them sleeping.
