“Hey.” Josh greeted, sliding the chair out for me.
“Hey.”
“I ordered coffee so long, have you eaten?” he asks with so many questions behind his tone.
“Yes, I have.” I lie, I don’t intend to stay long. I have to get back to Rosie, but I also need to explain to Josh what's going on. The waiter placed our coffee in front of us, and I smiled nervously.
“What happened? You sounded serious over the phone.” I took a sip of my coffee before I explained everything to Josh. I told him about Martha’s wish and my choice to be there for Rosie.
