Chapter 6: Leora/Princess Amethyst

They accept me as I am! And better yet they excepted Anna with open arms and are willing to meet my adopted parents and let them live in this realm!

Leora my dear, How would you like us to introduce you to our people? My mother asked me. I thought about it, and I really like my birth name. I can always use my adopted name with close family and friends.

Amethyst! I can always have Leora as my name for family and close friends. I answered and my parents faces lit up with happiness!

That sounds wonderful! We will have a welcoming ball for both you and Anna in 2 nights that should be enough time for you to settle in and get gowns fitted for you both! My father announced.

Do you think I could go back and bring my adopted parents back here? I asked.

They havent even met my adopted parents and they were already treating them with so much respect. A few minutes later a man came in who looked like an older version of Nick.

I am sir. Anna said walking over and taking Nicks hand smiling up at him. Sir Tristan looked at the two confused.

You have your own room. Every year on our birthday Ametrine and I upgrade it to what we think youd like. I can show you it. He tells me with a goofy grin on his face. I nod my head and James and I follow him up to the west wing of the castle.

This is Ametrines room. James says pointing to a room coming up on our left and I hear giggling coming out of it.

I walk in and am met with a room bigger than my whole living room back home. A queen size princess bed in decorating the left wall with a vanity across from it. I see I have a balcony and go to it to see what view I have and I immediately see the rose gardens below and grasslands beyond the castle grounds. I go back inside my room and see the double doors on the same side of the room as my vanity and go and open them and find a walk-in closet nearly empty. I hang up what I brought with me and go to the door thats near my bed and find an on-suite bathroom. Walk-in shower and a jet bath tub.

Is this all mine? I ask Prince Jasper as I walk out of the bathroom.

Like it? I love it! Its more than I could have ever asked for. I say going up to him and hugging him. He stays still at first then wraps his around me and hugs me back resting his head on mine.

Im really glad to hear you say that, Amethyst! Weve all missed you so much! Being a triplet is no fun with only two. We both started laughing.

So, I see we both got dads red hair. I say trying to make conversation. He just smiles.

Yeah, you were the only one to get moms eyes. Ametrine was the only one to get moms hair. I better go to my room and get ready. The coach should be ready soon Ill meet you down there. Jasper hugged me one last time before leaving my room.

Ill wait in the hall for you to get ready. I love you, my princess. James kissed me then left the room as well. I went over to my closet and picked out another hiking outfit. Im going to have to explain not only Jasper but everything to my adopted parents and hopefully they will still want to come with me. I put my hair up into a high ponytail and head out into the hallway to meet James. We then head downstairs to the coach.

Oh Prince Jasper is there something I can do for you? Sir Tristan asked.

Hes coming with us Sir Tristan. I said matter of factly. James and Jasper both looked at me surprised but with pride.

What do you mean? I asked now confused. We were all in the coach.

My power is teleportation. I can create portals or just teleport myself. James explained. I just had that oh look on my face.

So those situations Anna and I told you about that was my powers kicking in? I asked Jasper. He just nodded his head.

What are everyone elses powers? Who all has powers? I tried to keep my excitement contained now knowing to strong of an emotion will set off my magic.

Just the royal family has powers. Mom has telekinesis, she can move things with her mind, dad can read minds, and Ametrine can heal people and she heals faster herself. My mind was reeling. I could never keep anything from my dad, wait does he already know about James and I or was he letting me tell him as I felt comfortable?

Is that how dad knew I was the true lost princess? He nodded his head.

Yes, just going to have to apologize to your dad when we get back. Jasper looked at him weird and I looked at him and asked.

I wasnt thinking as her knight I was thinking as her boyfriend! James spit out then clamped his mouth shut. Now Jasper was about to jump across the coach. Thankfully we made it to our destination. I grabbed Jamess hand and pulled him out of the coach. Jasper and Sir Tristan were not far behind us.

You were meant to find her and bring her back not date her! Sir Tristan almost screamed.

James please tell me you didnt use dating her as a way to get close to her. Jasper asked.

No! Never! Ive always been infatuated with the stories of the lost princess of the star kingdom and then when I met her I fell in love with her. James explained. Sir Tristan just shook his head.

Knights dont marry princesses!! He practically yelled.

Yes but James isnt just a knight hes a prince as well. My brother came in and saved the day. James smiled and held me proudly then looked towards Sir Tristan.

He might as well be your prince since hes dating me and I dont plan to let him go! Apologize now! I was heating up I was so angry, so much so James had to let me go.

Im sorry Prince James, Princess Amethyst. Sir Tristan dropped down to his knees.

Amethyst, you need to calm your anger. We are too close to the forest for you to let your emotions to get out of hand. Jasper was right. I took a couple of deep breaths and felt my body cool. James grabs ahold of me and kissed my head.

Thats my amica mea. James whispered in my ear, and I smiled from ear to ear.

Your lucky we were able to calm her! My father will hear of this. We already lost her once we dont need to lose her due to her own magic! Watch your tongue! Lets move forward. Jasper was fuming almost as bad as I was, but he didnt have to watch his emotions. I walked over and gave him a hug and felt my calm go into him.

Thank you. I needed that. Now let us move forward I need to meet the people who took care of my sister all of these years. James grabbed my hand, and we walked up to a tree where James put his dagger and another portal opened up, he grabbed his dagger and we all walked through the portal and back into the human realm.

Where are we? Jasper asked?

A clearing in a forest of a nature reserve. I answered. Everyone was quiet as we walked to the edge of the forest.

Why are there so many buildings? What are those? Where are the animals? Jasper was spewing question after question and I was finding it difficult to keep up.

Im not sure. Those are cars. They are around. I answered as fast as I could.

What is this place?

A car rental shop. James do you want to go in and get a car?

Yes, my princess Ill be right back! I sat on a bench and Jasper sat beside me.
