(Lisanna)
I hate to say but I am certainly loving this new house of ours. It is much more modern than the house where we came from. I watch Risanna's reaction imprinted on her face and I laughed upon seeing that. She was definitely awed by its interior and how it has been decorated, I cannot blame her at all. That was also my initial reaction when I got here that day, I just cannot show it fully as I do not want Luke to think that this is my first time entering a place like this, even if it is quite yes.
"Stop gaping. This now our world, remember?" I said to her and she immediately snapped back to reality that we are really moving in this house.
"Who owns this house?" she asked to me as she began checking out the living room and stepped her foot on the stairs, she is now ready to have her own tour.
"Luke's. But he said that we can stay here." I plainly answered to her.
"No way!" she exclaimed as I looked at her with my right eyebrow up.
"What?" I asked and a devilish smile formed on her face.
"Are you two already got married?" she asked as I was about to answer her that when I heard some thing dropped on the floor loudly.
I looked towards the direction where that sound coming from and it was from the entrance door, where Asley was standing and there was a box on the floor in front of him.
"Sorry, That just fell off of my hand." he coldly said as he began walking in like nothing happened with us.
What the hell is wrong with him?
"He was jealous." Risanna said to me as I glared on her and she chuckles.
"Shut the hell up, Ris." I firmly said to her and she just ignored my warning and begin climbing the stairs towards the upper floor of the house.
I let out a deep sigh as I let her do whatever she wanted and start unpacking the boxes that came behind Asley as he arrived seconds ago. I saw that there were labels on each boxes so it is not difficult for me to know which box is for that place or is it for me or my twin.
I saw a box labeled as 'Kitchen' so I decided to start my unpacking from the kitchen area. I carried the box with my two hands as I stride towards that direction. I saw Asley opening the cupboards like he is checking out something in it.
"You can now go. Thanks for helping us moving our things." I said as I put down the box on the table. I grabbed a cutter near me as I cut the tapes opened.
"So, is that it? You thanked me for that?" he said as I stopped and looked on him.
"What do you want me to say more?" I innocently answered to him and he chuckled, but that sounded a little sarcastic to me.
"Right, I am not worthy of your words. I see." he keep on mumbling that.
"Asley, do we have a problem? If you do not want this in the first place, you do not need to do it at all." I said to him and he also paused and walked towards me.
"Tell me, are you still being swayed by me?" he arrogantly asked as I scoffed in disbelief and shook my head.
"We are not talking this one." I firmly said as I began putting out the things I got in the box.
"That was it. You just keep on avoiding this kind of conversation whenever I am opening it one." he said and he really sounded disappointed about it at me.
"Sorry to burst your bubble but I do not think I have to say something about it." I answered as I moved away from him and now finally putting the dishes and mugs in its right places.
"Alright. If that is what you wanted. We can forget it like nothing happened, like what should be in the first place." he said as I let out a deep sigh and looked back on him. I leaned my back near the sink as I stared.
"You are right, nothing happened and it should continue like that until the end." I firmly said to him and he nodded, began walking slowly towards me and it was a bad move to leaned my back on the edge of it.
"Really?" he said as he stood right in front of me with his eyes inviting me for something not right.
But why is it a bad thing? I started pondering on that as I was about to say something when he gave me a peck on my lips. In surprised, I cannot even complain nor say something.
"What about now?" he asked as I gulped down and still quietly standing.
"You are swayed." he said like that was the most certain thing he has even seen.
"Lisanna!" both of us were surprised when someone yelled my name, we both know that it is a familiar voice so I fix myself and Asley turned his back from me, then Luke entered with big and bright smile on his face.
"Asley, I did not know that you came." Luke said to him as Asley nodded and forced a smile.
"Yeah, I thought I already told you that I will be helping." Asley said and Luke looked on him with his crumpled forehead.
"Is that right? I cannot remember. Anyhow, I am already here you can now go and do your thing." Luke plainly said to him.
"This is my thing, Luke" he firmly said and both of us were surprised on how he reacted on those words.
"I mean, I have decided to help and I got nothing to do today to let me." Asley recovered and added those words to us.
"Alright, if that is what you want." Luke plainly said and he begin helping too.
There was a long silence between the three of us. It was a heavy and awkward one, that even though I wanted to say something, I will just stop and swallowed it down through my throat. We finished the kitchen area before lunch and now the biggest question of all, who will cook and how will we eat?
"Lis! What is our lunch for today?" and of course, how could I forget that my sister have an alarm clock in her stomach?
"I am still thinking about that." I answered as I began checking out the kitchen, we just moved our things so I was expecting that there could be come frozen food or even canned goods that we can eat right now. But not surprisingly enough, there is none.
"Let us just order some food for now, but will buy groceries later at night." I suggested and they all nodded at me in agreement.
"Right, do not tell me that you two will be staying here until late?" I asked and the two of them looked on each other and flashed a smile of a jokester.
This cannot be good at all.
I let out a deep sigh as I began scanning through my phone. There was a phone application for food deliveries and I just let them choose whatever they wanted.
"It is so funny on how you just held a housewarming last few days before and now we again moved houses." Ris said to me as I nodded.
"Well, I did not know that I will be kicked out from our own house." I said and I glared at Asley who was comfortably sitting by the dining table.
"And I did not know that I will be getting that house either." he nonchalantly answered and he shrugged his shoulders in returned. I scoffed in disbelief as I looked on Luke.
"Can we not ask the maids you got to cook something for us?" I asked to him and he slowly lookes upwards, towards me.
"Have you already been here? In this place?" Risanna firmly asked me and every words that she said, she is putting an accent and intonation like she was catching me in the act.
"I-I just heard from him." I said and looked away.
"I am not sure about that." Ris said as her eyes twitched and I know that she will now start teasing me around.
"Shut up." I just said and faced Luke, waiting for his answer.
"Well, I can definitely ask them that." he plainly answered and I nodded.
And with that, his maids automatically became ours and they will serve us staring today, right now. Everything seems normal and well, the two boys were playing video games as we waited for the food and Ris was also cheering to the two while watching the whole game. And yet here I am, sitting at the edge and waiting for them to finish everything.
I am not interested in playing games so I decided to take a stroll around the place. I know that I have been directly towards the room of his and not as how a normal guest should be. I went out through the back door as I saw a wide place of its garden. I did not know that there was a beautiful and relaxing place like this here. Well, for starters, the ambiance of the place on the way to the house was already relaxing because of the forest and hills, but this is different.
There was a long aisle at the middle where there were bushes on each sides. I was hoping to see more but what I only saw was a lone bench at the end and a meter far from the house. I sat on it and it waa facing towards the cliff, where I could see the whole view down to the little city of this strange countryside.
Then, I noticed something. I could see everything to the point that I could locate the house of the elites, they were seen at different direction and as I followed those directions- the land spot where their houses were seen, it formed a star shape when connected- and that is when I saw another thing- in the middle is our house, the house of my grandfather and the house where we initially moved in.
