"Get lost!" Sophia pushed Olivia away and cursed with disgust, "b***h, who knows what big trouble you've gotten into? You should just die out there and not bring bigger disasters to the Harrison family."
"Sophia, Grandpa, please at least let me finish. Ruby was hit by a car..."
Before Olivia could finish, Samuel interrupted her indifferently, "Enough! Olivia, you don't have to make up those lies. You're no longer a part of the Harrison family. We won't offend the Roberts family for you. Give up this thought!"
With that, Samuel turned and walked away.
At that moment, Olivia's heart shattered. She knew Samuel wouldn't easily agree to her request. He wouldn't make an enemy out of the Roberts family, one of the top families in Yonderville.
But she hadn't expected Samuel to refuse so decisively and interrupt her without any mercy.
"Grandpa, please help us..." Olivia tried to say more, but Samuel had already gotten into his car.
"Jonathan, Grandpa doesn't want me anymore. My family hates me. I have no home anymore. It hurts so much." Olivia had been away from home for too long, and now, she completely broke down. She collapsed to the ground and burst out crying.
Jonathan held her tightly. "Olivia, you still have me and Ruby. You don't need to rely on the Harrison family. We'll have our own home."
Jonathan glanced at Samuel in the car and Sophia at the Harrison Villa's gate.
His voice wasn't loud, but it clearly spread throughout the place. "If you really want to return to the Harrison family, I promise you, it won't be long before they'll welcome you back and even beg you to return."
Upon hearing that, Samuel snorted and closed the car door.
Sophia burst into loud laughter. Her laughter was shrill like the horn of a car. "Hahaha! Do you think we'll beg this b***h to come back home? Dream on! Olivia, is there something wrong with this scumbag? He's trying to steal the spotlight on such an occasion. He's hopeless!"
Sophia's mocking laughter was in stark contrast to Olivia's soft sobs.
Olivia shook her head and whispered softly, "We did make a mistake, and now we have offended the Roberts family. My family will never forgive me."
"They definitely will! I'll make them beg you to return to the Harrison family." Jonathan gently caressed Olivia's cheek and shot Sophia a cold stare.
Before Sophia knew it, Jonathan was already close in front of her.
Jonathan's cold gaze was aimed at Sophia's forehead like the barrel of a gun. "Believe it or not, you'd better get ready to welcome Olivia home. I do what I say."
As soon as he finished speaking, Sophia started trembling as if she had been thrown into an ice cave.
Her legs gave out from fear, and she collapsed to the ground, her face pale.
Jonathan picked up Olivia and strode away.

Meanwhile, it was a mess in Imperial Tower, the highest central military headquarters in the capital of Novaria.
Several lieutenant generals responsible for investigating the incident in Yonderville had intercepted a telegram.
The report revealed that Theodore was using his connections to secretly investigate Jonathan.
"The Roberts family is trying to secretly gather information on a five-star general. My God! They're insane!" One lieutenant general roared in anger. "According to the special regulations of Imperial Tower, tell the Eastvale Military District that anyone who dares to disclose any information about Jonathan will face a military court!"
"Yes, sir!" the secretary responded and sent out the order.
As the order was issued, Theodore, who was discussing something with the garrison commander in Yonderville, Hector Cross, heard the phone ring.
"Hello, who is this?" Hector answered the call.
Hector held a high position in the military and had some connections with the Roberts family.
Theodore came to see him to borrow some manpower for the life-and-death battle and to inquire about Jonathan.
The two of them had a few glasses of brandy, smoked a few Cohiba cigars, and had a pleasant conversation.
However, the harsh ringing of the phone interrupted them.
"This is Imperial Tower," came a cold voice on the other end of the line.
Hector hadn't felt this tense for a long time. Imperial Tower signified the highest authority of the military. He dared not defy orders from there and had to follow them immediately.
Hector stood up immediately and said respectfully, "Imperial Tower? This is Hector Cross from..."
Sweat formed on Hector's forehead. Although he held significant power in Yonderville, he had never had the chance to contact the highest central military headquarters in Novaria.
However, before he could finish, the lieutenant general on the other end interrupted him rudely, "I don't care who you are. I am ordering you officially on behalf of Imperial Tower. Regarding the incident in Yonderville, don't disclose any information involving military personnel to the outside world. Don't use military resources! Don't overstep your authority! Remember, under no circumstances should the Roberts family receive any assistance from you. Do you understand?"
"Y-Yes, sir!" Hector stammered, and the call ended abruptly.
Hector was stunned. He had just agreed to help Theodore investigate a man named Jonathan Parker.
Theodore claimed that Jonathan was just an ordinary soldier who enlisted five years ago, but how could this have triggered a warning from Imperial Tower?
And it was the highest-level warning!
Hector instantly realized the severity of the situation. His face turned grim, and he quickly stubbed out the cigar.
"Commodore Cross, who was it? Why do you look so worried?" Theodore asked eagerly. He thought it was an update on Jonathan's investigation.
Hector's face was cold as he realized the gravity of the situation. "This has nothing to do with you. You and your men should leave now! I can't help you. Don't come back again!"
"Commodore Cross, you didn't say that just now!" Theodore was shocked. He didn't understand why Hector's attitude changed drastically after he took the call. "There might be some confusion here. I can explain."
"Go explain to Imperial Tower." Hector waved his hand, and the surrounding guards immediately rushed over. "Get him out of here!"
