They all knew she was their general's wife! The wife of a five-star general was shot dead by a member of the Roberts family!
Olivia's blood was still flowing, and it wouldn't be long before she bled out completely!
Jonathan glared coldly at Vincent, his eyes like a gun, his gaze like bullets! "Vincent! What did you just say? My wife and my daughter are nothing like the bastard you raised! They're nothing alike! Your son deserved to die!" Jonathan gritted his teeth. "And now, you will pay with your life for my wife!"
Vincent trembled all over, his face now ghastly pale!
"Who... Who are you?! Why are you wearing that uniform? What do you want?" Vincent was terrified. That fear came from deep within! He realized he had asked a redundant question. That was the uniform of a five-star general. Only someone of that rank could command such a large military force and have brigadier generals at his disposal!
Vincent's mind began to collapse. He felt like a total i***t! He was merely the head of the Roberts family in Yonderville. How could his thousand-strong gang and the dozen highly-trained overseas henchmen contend with Jonathan?
Jonathan didn't spare Vincent another glance. He heard a sound and turned suddenly. It was the medical team his subordinates had brought.
Seeing Olivia, they hurriedly said, "General, your wife might still have a chance! Please let us take her. We might be able to save her!"
Jonathan quickly placed Olivia on the stretcher in the ambulance.
He looked deeply at Olivia once more. He didn't say anything, but his hope was rekindled. He watched as the medical team took Olivia away before turning back to Vincent, "Who am I? What do I want?"
Jonathan closed his eyes. He wanted to say something, but he suddenly remembered that he had just resigned. The military uniform on him symbolized too much responsibility. It wasn't that he felt unworthy but that he deeply wished to lay down his duties for the country and live as an ordinary man with his wife and daughter.
"I'm not a five-star general. I'm just Olivia's husband and Ruby's father! You want to kill my wife, and your son wants to ruin my daughter. I just found out a few days ago that my daughter might well be permanently blinded because of the car accident your son caused!"
Jonathan raised his head and yelled, "No matter who I am, I will do everything I can to avenge my wife and daughter! That's all!"
