Mason had completely lost his earlier arrogance. He stood trembling.
All his men had already been disarmed and controlled by the police. They lay on the ground with their hands on their heads. Mason was left alone, facing dozens of guns. He quickly surrendered and crouched with his hands over his head.
Kevin put down the megaphone, strode in, and kicked Mason to the ground. Without giving Mason another glance, he respectfully turned to Jonathan. "Mr. Parker, I'm Kevin Gray, the police chief of the Willow District. I'm here on orders from the Chief of the Yonderville Police Department, Adrian Marshall, to arrest these criminals."
Jonathan nodded calmly. "You're not too late."
Kevin's forehead immediately welled with sweat. The pressure emanating from Jonathan was intense. Looking into Jonathan's eyes, Kevin felt breathless. No wonder even Adrian showed him such respect.
At that moment, Olivia ran over, her eyes filled with concern. "Are you alright?"
Jonathan smiled. "I'm fine. The chief here came just in time to arrest everyone. We should thank him."
Olivia turned to Kevin, her eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you so much. I'm Olivia Parker, the factory's manager. Without your timely intervention, our factory would have been destroyed."
Kevin was momentarily taken aback but quickly responded with a smile. "Mrs. Parker, it's our duty. We've been monitoring Mason for a while but couldn't catch him in the act until now. We'll make sure he compensates for the damage done to the factory."
Olivia thanked him profusely. However, Kevin didn't dare to leave. He kept looking at Jonathan for approval. Only after Jonathan nodded did Kevin order, "Take them away."
In his car, Kevin breathed a sigh of relief and wiped his sweaty forehead.
A curious officer beside him asked, "Mr. Gray, what's the deal? We mobilized the entire department to arrest Mason's gang. Mason works for Dorian. He'll make our lives hell for this. I bet he'll come to the station himself soon. And why were you so respectful to that young guy? Who is he?"
Kevin snapped, "Dorian? He's nothing. He's evaded our investigations with his filth for too long. But this time, he's gone too far. No one can save him. If he dares show up to bail out Mason, I'll arrest him on the spot. Let me be clear: this operation was personally approved by Chief Marshall. He asked us to shoot anyone who resists. You've been with me for several years. You know what this means."
Kevin took a deep breath, still shaken by the encounter. "Even Chief Marshall and Mr. Mayor wouldn't dare act rashly in front of that guy. Has Mason gone mad trying to tear down his factory? Go back and inform everyone. Kick out any underlings of Dorian's or any gang members who try to bail out Mason. If Dorian shows up himself, he might as well settle in to meet his fate."
"Yes, sir." The officer sweated profusely. Who could make the police chief and the mayor bow down?

Meanwhile, in a white mansion in Yonderville, a middle-aged man in his forties lounged on a sofa sipping a glass of wine.
A subordinate rushed in and bowed respectfully. "Mr. Campbell, Mason Shelton from the Willow District has been arrested. All his casinos and entertainment venues have been shut down."
Dorian Campbell was a top figure in Yonderville's underworld. He controlled dozens of gangs, hundreds of businesses, and thousands of minions. It made him a force to be reckoned with.
He had established several legitimate businesses and presented himself as a successful businessman. He even had connections with Simon. There was nothing Dorian couldn't achieve in Yonderville.
This power allowed him to secretly eliminate many people. Most of Yonderville's citizens feared him. Mentioning Dorian's name could silence crying children at night. His infamy had spread across Yonderville.
Dorian put down his glass, took a damp cloth from a maid to wipe his hands, and asked coldly, "Have you found out why?"
"No, sir."
Dorian, with his thick brows and graying hair, narrowed his dark red eyes. He walked to the window and looked at the sky. "Find out what happened. If money can fix it, do it. Don't let our men feel abandoned. Also, prepare the car. I'm going to see Mr. Reed."
Just then, a cold voice echoed from a distance.
"No need. I'm already here."
Dorian turned and saw a group of people storming in. Simon was surrounded by hulking bodyguards.
"Mr. Reed, what brings you here?" Dorian forced a smile.
Everyone had heard of Dorian, but they didn't know that his success was built on Simon's support.
Simon snorted angrily. "Dorian, you've got some nerve! Do you know who your men offended this time? You're finished!"
