Joshua could move him in all directions and make him do whatever he wanted with just one thought, smiling. He thought about joining again, and the wolf bowed towards him. When they were together again, Joshua felt part of his strength come back to him. When they separated, the wolf took power and ferocity that corresponded to him, that part of him that was a pure wolf, and in Joshua, the temperance and intellect remained. It was what defined his human part. Both were the same and were separated by their objective. For that reason, Joshua could undoubtedly have that gift as his devotion. This new ability would come in handy, and seeing his mother, and he leaned in as she said, “I must thank you, mother! Not just because of this guide, without for the guidance you have given me throughout my life!” She smiled when looking to the side as the people around her appeared. Edith Eleonor Seraphim and Nate, as well as her sister, were all present when Eleonor said, “I have news!” “What’s going on?” Joshua asked while looking at her after he stood up abruptly. She was smiling, looked at Edith, and said, “I was all this time trying to get allies, but I couldn’t. I’m a pretty young witch, and nobody knows me, even with the magnitude of this problem, it was very difficult for someone to offer to help, but when they found out that a servant of death was here, many offered their help! “ Joshua smiled and, seeing Edith nodded as she asked, “That’s a good thing, isn’t it?” Eleonor nodded as she nervously said, “It is! If it is! But, the point is that the people I contacted would arrive in two days, one of them said that his soldiers would get here as fast as they could, and that will be in one day! “ Joshua understood the problem immediately, and seeing Edith said, “That means we will have to face the shock these men bring for a full day before help arrives!” Eleonor nodded while looking at them seriously. Joshua gaze shifted towards Edith, before he asked, “What do you think? We can do it?” She looked at him and took a deep breath, and she nodded as she said, “We have no choice! If he comes here and the person who is threatening my sisters is with them can attack any god. Do you know how dangerous that is? This is one of twelve locations! We cannot lose it.” Joshua nodded and, looking at the others, questioned, “Are you willing to do this? Nate nodded, and taking Seraphim’s hand, he saw her smile, Eleonor nodded, and Edith looking at him, put her hand on her cheek when she said, “It’s the only thing we can do so far!” Joshua nodded and looking at the horizon, and he knew that what was coming would be by far the greatest challenge he had ever faced. Looking at Edith, he said, “Well! If we are going to fight an army like it is, we must make a plan, a good strategy that will keep them away from us.” When Edith saw it, she smiled and then mysteriously said, “I have a couple of ideas.” Joshua nodded and seeing the darkness, and he prepared for what was to come. The next day the army that was focused on destroying the home of his mother and everyone who was in that place was approaching. The battle for dominance of the circle of altars was about to begin. But Edith did not know that all this conflict was nothing more than a ploy by the one behind her and that one more goal was at stake. Several kilometers from that place, Gerard looked at the vampire who had disrespected him. He saw him with anger as if what he had done had hurt him deeply, and he did not understand why his father, who was the alpha, allowed that infamy. The vampire in front of him looked up at the night sky and said, “If you want here, you have your chance, and no one will be able to protect me from your ferocious wolf!” But Gerard, when he wanted to attack, he felt a chill go up to his spine when he said, “I suppose that if you don’t try to kill me, we can be friends... don’t feel bad about that wolf who humiliated you, I’ll take care of punishing him!” And with those words, they continued to advance. The army seemed led by their father, but something that told Gerard that he and his companions were nothing more than puppets in a much bigger plan. This war was deeper than everyone believed. *** The night was falling, the attack was imminent, and on the main wall, Joshua waited for his enemies to appear. Beside him, Edith held his hand while she said in a pleasant voice, “Things are ready. If they come, we will be able to hold them for a while with the traps we set. The important thing is that they will not be able to attack the main wall with all their might, you have to go around the mountains in front, and the road is narrow.” Joshua saw it and nodded. They had prepared a series of traps that would make it difficult for the soldiers to enter, but he did not know how great the threat was. He could not help worrying about what was coming. The members of the pack that had accompanied Seth were there with him, ready to face whatever came, and his mother’s disciples were also ready. They had quite a few warriors ready to fight, but their greatest strengths were in the three witches. They symbolized an overwhelming advantage over what was to come.
