Seraphim breathing was quicken. She was on alert despite her tiredness. Suddenly a calm voice had said from the darkness, “If I were you, I wouldn’t go in!” She was surprised that one of those vampires could take her by surprise. She turned to see his face. Despite doing so, the vampire was just leaning against a wall covered in shadows. Seraphim frowned in confusion but remained on guard. She was confused as the vampire did not seem to want to attack or do any of that. He only looked at her and spoke, in slowness that gave his voice an air of laziness, “That damn old man is incredibly strong. He has been on this earth for millennia, and he is not someone who can be beaten. Not, for you at least.” She looked at him with unmasked distrust. She noticed that his brow was furrowed as if he was displeased by just being there. The vampire was thin, and his hair was tied in an onion while his eyes calmly tried to light a cigarette. His torn pants and his boots made him look very young. However, his calmness for dealing with the current situation, as well as the way he presented himself in front of an enemy, denoted a lot of experience. Seraphim’s eyes narrowed while looking at him, preparing to fight, but the man just smiled at her.   He chuckled and said, “I’m not going to fight you! God, why would I do something like that! You’d kill me in seconds. Nah, it’s not my style. I only advise you not to enter that place.” Seraphim smirked and said full of sarcasm, “Fight? Who is talking about fighting? I will simply end your life!” The boy gave a loud laugh when he finally could light the cigarette. Taking a couple of puffs, he let the smoke go to the sky and said, “You could! Sure, but do you really want to spend more energy? I think if I couldn’t convince you not to go in there, maybe you need all your energy.” He put his hand in his pocket and taking out a wrinkled root, and he threw it at the witch. Instinctively, she caught it, and when she saw what it was, Seraphim was surprised. She looked at the herb for few more seconds before Seraphim looked at the vampire again and said with unmasked doubt, “This is a Bella Donna. Why are you giving me this?” The smiling boy approached her and very calmly said, “You are a witch that will recover your energy. I don’t think you can beat the damn old man. But if you’re going to try it anyway, at least do it with all your might. Yeah?” He then winked at her. She couldn’t believe what was happening when she looked at the vampire’s face. She asked, “Who the hell are you?” The vampire smiled carelessly. He then started walking towards another wall where he again leaned on. While staring into Seraphim’s eyes, he replied, “Me? I am Roy Nathaniel Sirfrid II! But everyone calls me Nate.“ She was surprised at the name of the strange character. Seraphim glanced at the root once more before she questioned, “How can I trust you? How far are you trying to fool me so that that bastard has an advantage over me!” Hearing that, the vampire laughed loudly and, looking at the girl, said, “Advantage over you? Didn’t you see how I ripped off the wolf’s arm? He doesn’t need an advantage over you! I can give you that herb and ten more witches, and he will still have an advantage. No, I just don’t want you to die. That’s why my advice is don’t go in there.” Those words confused Seraphim, who, taking the herb, put it in her pocket. Looking straight ahead in Nate’s direction, she said coldly, “I do not trust you. But you seem harmless ... you don’t look like the other bloodthirsty vampires.” Nate smirked before he replied nonchalantly, “I am not like them. In that you are right, listen... If you are inevitably going to enter, I will give you another piece of advice. The central ceiling is thin. He likes to feel the rain.” Seraphim looked at him with a deep frown. The boy just continued with a smile, “Good luck, witch! I really hope you survive! “ And without saying anything, his entire body slipped into the darkness, disappearing from that place. Seraphim was surprised for a second, and walking towards the wall, she touched the shadow, but there was nothing in that place. She was smiling returned to stand in front of the door. She reached into her pocket and pulling out the Bella Donna, and she ate half of it. With that ability, that vampire could attack her from the shadows at any time if she did not do it and was not completely flooded with human blood. Clearly, this vampire was different from her, so she decided to give him a vote of confidence. When tasting a piece of the herb, she felt her energy being restored and smiling. She thought to herself, He clearly wasn’t lying, since the herb is true… With that in mind, her heart leaped. She had recovered some of her strength but, would that be enough to deal with the man behind that door who was the real problem? Seraphim took a deep breath. The witch concentrated then muttered, “Vehemens Coegis!” And her body shine, she cried with a lot of power, at that moment she leaned over and shot frontally against the door. She advanced the entire space of the room she had entered, and rushing up to a throne at the end of the room, she tried to hit the vampire’s face hard. He had a white toga and was sitting on the throne with the shackles in his hands and the balls on the ground, with his head, bent over his fist on the arm of the throne.
