XCI: No Chooses

The vampire smiled mockingly, and just as she did, Nate launched himself towards her.

She was prepared for the attack. However, Nate’s dagger flew towards her from the ground, which caught her off guard.

When she turned her gaze, she noticed that Nate’s shadow seemed to have taken shape and threw the dagger towards her as well.

Seeing this, the woman quickly covered her face with the blade from her arm and then released the first dagger. Yet, Nate grabbed the dagger and attacked.

With her rapier, she protected herself only to see Nate create a huge hammer and attack from the bottom up. She, without wasting time, touched the hammer with the blade making it heavier, and Nate dropping it made the hammer go into the shadow.

But from above the vampire, a shadow covered her, and just from that shadow, the hammer that was now heavier thanks to the magic of the blade fell on her.

She tried to move, but the hammer fell hard on her shoulder, dislocating it. For a vampire, that wound did not mean anything, but the fraction of a second it took for her shoulder to fix Nate, who took the two shadow daggers under it, began to rotate and to cut everywhere.

The first went to the knee, this one hit instantly, the second went to the thigh and then the abdomen, the next hit the vampire’s blade causing Nate to lose a dagger, but without stopping turning, he attacked the vampire’s neck, who backed away made a distance. However, her action was useless, especially when she saw that Nate’s bare hand suddenly landed on her face forcefully and sent her flying.

The girl fell to the ground in pain, and when she tried to get up, the shadows held her body tightly. She was unable to raise a hand to defend herself, which made her hiss in helplessness.

Just then, Nate, who was now in front of her, took the hammer and raised it in the air. He was ready to smash it and make the head of the vampire and explode it.

“So you, how do you want this? Quick or slow? Or you want to do serve me as your master so you can live thingy? Choose!” He asked with a taunting smile.

She glared at him as she struggled to move and said, “I’m not going to stop fighting, and I can’t! If you don’t kill me, he will kill me!”

Nate looked at her and replied, “We can face him!”

She shook her head and said, “No way! If you release me, I will kill you, I swear, I can’t stop doing it, or you kill me, or you sacrifice your life and that of your friends!”

Nate took a quick breath and looked at the vampire, and he said, “I’m sorry.”

But she was smiling said, “I do not! Do what you must!”

“Very well, I understand,” and with Nate’s force under the hammer on her face, the girl received a very strong impact on her face that left her completely disfigured. Her blood came out of her everywhere, and her inert body lost all the power.

The vampire was dead, and now Nate was looking ahead, thinking about who was capable of causing so much fear to die before switching sides. Without waiting for a second, he took both weapons from the vampire and kept them in their shadows, looking straight ahead. He saw how a huge werewolf landed at the foot of the wall, and with speed, he decided to approach, but at that moment, something caught his attention.

A man with long yellow hair was walking with soul towards the mountain, nobody seemed to see him, and he did not seem to be interested in anyone.

Nate wanted to stop him, but that man who faced Seraphim looked dangerous, thinking calmly, contacting Eleonor, and running quickly towards Seraphim.

“Eli! Someone climbs the mountain. It is dangerous, be careful!” Nate said hurriedly.

Eleonor nodded while looking at Edith. She asked, “Nate says someone is coming! Do you think it’s him?”

Edith got up and, looking at the door, and she said, “If he managed to get past all the defenses just like that, there is no doubt that he is! I’ll face it. If you ever have problems, call for help!”

Eleonor nodded, and Edith stepped forward. From where she was, at the top of the mountain, everything could be seen, despite how peaceful that place was, below a great battle was taking place.

Looking at the void of her, he felt the voice of someone special to her in her mind that she was saying, “Do not lose!”

And taking a deep breath, she said, “I will not do it!”

Edith was ready to face her enemy, this one who threatened her life and that of her sisters, this one who wanted to destroy the servants of death, this one who would surely have enough power to finish her, a creature that was not human, but not it was nothing more.

Fear lashed her, but she was ready to fight with everything she had to defend her position. No one would defeat the servants of death without them putting up a fight. Seraphim looked at Maximiliano with fear. He showed a different aura from all the opponents he had faced up to that moment but breathing calmly, and he concentrated on the battle. He was not going to stop fighting just because this man was a bit intimidating. , taking a deep breath, he said, “Force!”

His muscles grew a little and ran at full speed, and he jumped to attack the face of Maximiliano, who, turning his head to the side, opened his hand and held the blow with one hand.
