XXXVIII: A Witch Resistance

The confused vampire did not see what was happening and when he tried to catch Eleanor with his hands, he was impaled by a huge wooden stake in his stomach.

Eleanor, who was there a second ago, was running hard towards the ruins of the mine while she said, “How that for resistance b***h!!

The vampire felt the impact and using his force to get out of the wooden stake that he had embedded himself in his stomach, and he thought that a couple of inches up and his heart would be done.

Maybe this woman wasn’t easy prey after all. With that in mind, he said, “Okay! You seem to have some tricks, but you won’t escape from me! You are nothing but a f*****g snack!!”

He forcefully detached himself from where he was, leaving his coat tangled in the wooden stake, and with speed began the chase Eleanor again.

Eleanor was already reaching the ruins when she felt the swift steps of the creature behind her, and with speed, the man jumped to catch it, but this time it was Joshua who stopped him.

Joshua threw several blows with his spear that the vampire evaded, and looking at the young woman running without stopping, he looked in front of him at the image of Joshua attacking him, and without moving, he waited to receive the impact of the spear, and it went through him as if he were not there.

The image of Joshua was just another illusion. Angry as he was, he yelped and saw the girl enter what was the old miners’ dress on the side of the mountain.

He forcefully ran to where she was, and when he entered, he looked at all the members of the girl’s team.

Joshua, Seraphim, and Edith were waiting for him inside the room to attack him.

The first to jump was Joshua, the vampire raised his hands on impulse, but the image of Joshua went through him, confirming that it was just another illusion. The next to pounce on him was Seraphim, but this was also an illusion.

Edith, was walking slowly towards him, said, “This time, I will punish you!”

The vampire let out an exasperated snort when Edith’s hand was about to touch his face, but at that moment, a bottle appeared in front of him and crashed with his face breaking into pieces and bathing him in alcohol.

The blow was dry, and when the vampire opened his eyes, he looked at Eleanor in front of him with his hands together and very concentrated, he said, “Conversus!”

The liquid around the vampire’s body caught fire, and heat began to burn his body. The man could feel the intensity of the flames, and with force, even being completely lit on fire, he attacked Eleanor taking her neck with one hand and squeezing it to pieces.

When the neck sounded like a bone that was shattered, the illusion was lost, and he saw that what he was holding was a coat rack that was shattering.

The fire continued to burn his skin, and with a scream full of fury, Eleanor ran through the corridors of the factory could hear how upset that vampire was.

She passed by the neighbors, and when she went out the back door, she looked at the sky and forcefully closed her eyes as she tried to get to the truck by closing her eyes. She said, “Sol Mirage!”

The completely burned body of the vampire shot out of a window to land in front of her, and when he saw her, the bright eyes of the young woman pointed to the sky, and the terrified vampire saw how the sunlight was coming strongly.

He started running like crazy looking for a shadow, when suddenly stopping where he was he saw how the rays of the sun touched him, and nothing happened.

Closing his hands tightly, he said, “This is no longer fun!”

And turning his face in the direction of Eleanor, who was now riding in the back of the van, that made the Vampire shoot with full force in the direction of the van to ram it from the side and make it turn to overturn.

Eleanor inside the van felt the inclement impact of it, and when the vampire’s hands completely opened the side of the van and took her by the neck to take her out and hit her against the ground, the young woman began to feel the rain on the face.

The vampire was regenerating his wounds from the fire and looking at her with hatred, and he said as he tightened her neck.

“I was thinking of feeding on you! But you’re a slippery vermin, so I’ll just kill you!”

Eleanor tried to say something, but she could not because of the force with which the vampire tightened her neck. He loosened his grip a little when the young woman touched his forehead with speed, and she said.

“Reprehending Memory!”

As she did that, her eyes shone as the vampire began to see all aspects of his life, all the things he had done before he died, from the day he was born, all the people he knew and loved to the point where he was turned into a vampire, the things he did all the meals he had and when he got to the current point he was breathing with difficulty and Eleanor was not where he has her, looking up, many Eleanor saw him kneeling and he smiling said.

“That was uncomfortable! I don’t know how long it took! But now it is over, like your time little which! I gonna enjoy killing you!”

The Eleanor in front of him raised the revolver that Joshua had taken from the hunter and said, “Sure you will prick!!”

The vampire tried to catch her, but the shot came from behind, destroying his heart.
