LXXXVI: Vampire vs Vampires

Seraphim stared at her and, seeing Nate, said, “She will be a problem, she is a deserter witch, without lineage, but her body is not deformed...”

Nate, not understanding why that would be a problem, asked, “What does she have?”

Seraphim looked at him and said, “If her body is not deformed, her personality is ... she must be extremely twisted inside.”

Nate looked at her, and if she was twisted inside, it was impossible to notice it from a distance, but seeing his enemies, he saw them held back by the efficiency of the wall when the cries of the harpies were heard in the sky, inside the walls everyone raised their face to see how the harpies flew over the citadel dropping enemies within it.

A small group of vampires entered the citadel, landing on the houses and streets, attacking the defenseless who were not in combat, Nate when he saw that, looked at Joshua, and he nodded and allowed him to move.

Nate, without waiting for a second, got into his shadow and crossed the entire city to go out to face the vampires. Of all those on his side, he was the first to arrive, and he only left. He took a dagger that he threw directly at a vampire.

The enemy did not even bother to dodge her, and when the dagger penetrated his body, it exploded. Everyone saw that nervously and when they saw how Nate pounced on it, they understood the danger of the boy.

Two of them jumped to get away, but Nate pulling a whip out of the shadow of him, threw it to grab the foot of one and bring it back. When it landed, Nate used the handle of the whip to pierce his body and eliminate it just before another vampire kicked him from the side.

“You are a traitor and must die not being called a vampire!” One of the vampires yelled.

He got into the shadow avoiding the bite, but his hands came out of the shadow, taking the head of the Vampire and putting it into the darkness.

The Vampire resisted, but Nate turning his own body as he came out in a distant shadow, detached his head from that man’s body only to pierce it with a small dagger.

Two vampires were dead, and two more were in front of Nate. They looked at each other and tried to think of a way to kill the boy when he ducked and put his hand in the shadow to appear behind one of the vampires with a spear in hand, piercing this in the heart.

That Vampire was dead, the other one saw him and was terrified he was preparing to escape, but before he could do anything, Nate reached where he was, and with a masterful movement using a long sword, he sliced him into several pieces ending his life.

Nate smirked, seeing his new ability, and the weapon control seal was very useful. He could not believe that Seraphim had given him such a powerful weapon, that combined with his powers, made him advance so much that he even thought he could defeat Dominic with that power.

But at that very moment behind him, a person spoke calmly, “You are good enough to kill my brothers, and I must congratulate you.”

Nate turned his gaze and what he saw was a woman dressed in light armor, in her hand a rapier while on the forearm of her left arm an iron bracelet with a hidden blade rested. When he saw her, he said.

“You don’t look like a vampire... they are usually relegated to his abilities!”

She smiled and said, “That’s exactly what I am doing. My vampiric powers are parts of my abilities, like this! “

The smiling woman lunged at him again, but this time Nate attacked her.

They both collided with the edge of their weapons, and struggling, Nate felt the girl push her body. She seemed to be something stronger, and with a smile, he said, “You are not a simple wizard, and you can really compete with my strength!”

When she said this, she activated more of her power and pushed Nate, and she said, “But not enough!”

Nate, understanding that she had more strength than he let himself be carried away, her body fell to the floor, entering her shadow and leaving the girl’s shadow. He cut her twice in the back before taking distance again.
