She covered Seraphim’s mouth to prevent her from sucking that substance, and with speed, guided her towards a clothing store next to her. Entering, Seraphim looked at her and asked, “What was all that? How could you do those spells?” Edith smiled as they ran, and as they advanced through the back room, she explained, “When the servants of death are close to each other, their limitations diminish.” Seraphim saw her smiling when leaving the store. They ran to the other side of the street to reach the tower that Stella had told them, but just before they could enter the next store, a whiplash fell in front of them. Seraphim looked at the origin of it, and it was a hunter on the roof. Edith saw it and raised her hand, and she felt like at her side, several hunters came out with crossbows and weapons. She touched Seraphim’s arm and said, “Transmitter! Murmillo!” And making her eyes shine, she created a huge wall of shields that completely stopped the hunters’ attacks, and Seraphim could see how Edith stole her spell and, smiling, saw how a huge fire arrow shot from the top of the tower and annihilated the whip woman. They ran until they entered the store where the hunters were chasing her, but as they entered, Edith turned on her heel and pointed at the entrance. Then she said, “Crepitu!” And at the moment where the hunters chased her entrance, she bolted to pieces. Seraphim saw the efficiency with which Edith fought, but when she saw her leg, it was bleeding, and all of her pants looked red. She would soon begin to feel the effects of the loss of blood, and under those circumstances, that would be fatal. At the top of the tower, Stella looked at the situation and, looking to the right of it, and said, “Dominic! You can help them!” The man smiled and said, “If you promise to release another of my powers.” Stella took a deep breath and, seeing it, said, “It’s okay! But only one!” In that instant, the man smiled and looked at the witch. He said, “One is enough!” The city was in chaos, and the dangers they would encounter there were still far from over. The city was deserted, and it didn’t seem like everyone had left a long time ago. In the restaurants, there were drinks served and hot food to wait to be eaten, the humans were not there, and this looked as if they had disappeared immediately. Joshua and his group were entering the mountain, the location of the tribe of his mother was clear. As they advanced, Joshua said, “They should already know we are getting closer. Ideally, they would intersect us at any moment.” Seth looked in all directions, he wanted to be sure that the tribe that Joshua spoke of was in the surroundings, but the truth was that it was difficult to believe that an entire city appeared out of nowhere before that mountain. However, suddenly Eleanor stopped and, widening her eyes, said, “There are people nearby, many thoughts!” Joshua saw her and Seth getting on guard, saw how some women with bows and arrows came out from the top of some rocks. When he saw them, he raised his hands, although he was convinced that bows and arrows would not be enough to finish him off. Joshua, with a smile, said, “Don’t make any sudden movements. The tips of those arrows are silver!” Seth returned to see the archers and felt that they undoubtedly had a great advantage. While that passed, a woman with a skirt and thick armor on the lower part stood in front of Joshua, her brown skin contrasted with Joshua’s when taking off the helmet, showing her beautiful face. While hugging Joshua, he said, “Is good you returned!” Joshua hugged her lovingly, and the women who pointed their bows lowered their weapons. Seth felt an air of calm as many of them came down to greet Joshua with brotherly hugs. The man was smiling and looking at Seth. He said, “These are the members of my mother’s tribe!” All of them were greeted with kindness when walking. The girl who had introduced herself said, “My name is Erica! Welcome, all Joshua’s friends are welcome to our home.” With those words, they began to advance, Joshua conversed with her as if they had seen themselves a million times, and Eleonor, looking at him apprehensively, said, “I don’t think Edith likes your familiarity with that girl!” Joshua looked at her, smiling and pointing to Erica. He explained, “She is my sister!” Eleonor turned red as a tomato when she decided to keep quiet. The road extended for a little more, and at that moment, they looked at the wall that separated the town from the foot of the mountain. One could see the whole place from that place, and the slopes of the mountain that were below, connected with the bases of the wall. Surprised, she asked, “How is this here? And we couldn’t see it?” Joshua calmly answered, “We came from the back! Only a few know the entrance. This is the front part and where the enemies will surely come.” Eleonor nodded, and calmly, they advanced until entering the town. It was a fairly large place, but it was inhabited by pure women. The men were nowhere. Joshua looked at her and calmly asked, “Are you surprised that they are all women?” She smiled and responded, “Okay, yes! I thought wolves reproduced normally.” Joshua smiled and, walking said, “We do that!” After saying that, his sister Erica said with grace, “We are only women because the men of the tribe always retreat in search of an alpha, they always return after finding their pack, but it is the nature of the wolves.”
