Dominic covered his ears and shook his head furiously. With unmasked annoyance, he said, “Shut your mouth, and I’m going to help her!”
“Hurry!” Stella yelled once more, which made Dominic scowl further.
Worried that Stella would yell once more and destroy his eardrums, Dominic hurriedly walked towards Seraphim.
The demigod reached out and touched her shoulder, and in a matter of seconds, enveloped her in a golden glow that healed all her wounds.
In front of him, the hunter watched as she healed Seraphim and, pulling the spear that Dominic had driven into her chest, began to heal.
Dominic looked at her and, smiling, said, “That’s interesting….”
Seraphim was in good shape again, so he was relieved cause Stella wouldn’t b***h about it anymore.
Dominic glanced at the huntress and said, “I hope you have more of those bottles. I want that power.”
The huntress backed away with an expression of anxiousness. She did not want to deal with Dominic, and it was best to escape ASAP!
Dominic, on the other hand, was sensing Stella’s pressure. With annoyance, he said to Stella, “Yes! Yes, I’m going! Damn useless witches!”
He then glanced at Seraphim and saw her lying on the ground and healing her wounds. Since she could recover on her own, he stepped directly to where Nate was, pointing to the dying young man. He lazily asked Stella, “Do I also have to save this useless one?”
Not knowing who he was talking to, they all watched him bend down and heal Nate.
When looking at the boy with the acid hands, he said, “What a vulgar power!”
And with a swift movement, he stabbed three spears into his chest, killing him. At that moment, he turned to the huntress, who, upon seeing him, became terrified and began to escape.
Dominic, without paying any attention to the people he saved, shot out in search of her, leaving Edith, Seraphim, and Nate in perfect condition as they watched him walk away.
Neither one understood what had happened when suddenly the barrier suffered a small jump. Things were about to change for them.
Erica, Joshua’s sister, advanced with her motorcycle to the top of a hill. Arriving there, she parked it and, using her nose, and identified the enemies.
Four hunters were around a truck down the hill, they all watched the truck while they smoked and had fun, and Erica could see them from where she was.
In the past, she had faced hunters and knew how dangerous these people could be. She calmly descended the hill in stealth, trying to avoid being seen.
When she was less than a hundred meters away, she took a small knife in her belt and cutting her hand she marked rock on the ground, calmly and opening the wound again since it was closing with speed, she marked an arrow, and with strength, she threw it to the other side of where she was.
After doing that, she walked quickly toward another tree that was no more than fifty meters from the hunters.
Taking a deep breath, she drew her bow and pointed at the four hunters, and she pulled the rope tight when she had the target ready shot unceremoniously.
The arrow flew through the air and quickly embedded itself in the back of one of the hunters, piercing his torso.
With speed, Erica recharged, ready to fire again, her next arrow flew quickly, and it embedded itself in the neck of another hunter, killing her instantly. At that moment, the other two took cover.
Scared, they saw where the attacks were coming from, and when they saw the girl, one said, “Mario, end her!”
Mario took out the rifle and, pointing at the young woman, began to shoot. Each shot from the hunter passed close to the girl or was embedded in the tree where she took cover.
The other hunter took an ax and, looking at Mario, said, “Cover me!”
Mario began to shoot without quarter, his rifle could only fire eight shots, and he used them all to cover his partner, who surrounded the clearing by a grove to attack the girl by surprise.
She calmly took an arrow and, cutting her hand, filled it with her blood, reciting a small mantra, shot the arrow, and it passed close to Mario but did not hit the target.
The arrow was embedded in the ground behind the shooter and the girl, taking her small knife, nailed the blade in her hand. It began to bleed, and behind Mario, the arrow began to transform.
Little by little, the arrow behind him was transformed into a gray wolf. Mario, concentrating on attacking the girl, did not notice the transformation when the wolf jumped on him.
The wolf began to bite his neck without contemplation, and Mario couldn’t shoot anymore.
He struggled with the wolf as best he could be, trying to shake it off, but the animal’s jaws had already embedded his fangs in the hunter’s neck, and he was bleeding prominently.
Erika was concentrating on the wolf, controlling him fiercely, when an ax flew towards her, and the young woman had to move quickly. The wolf that attacked Mario stopped and sat on the ground.
Mario desperately began to look for the bottles in his belt, and he took one after another without finding the one he wanted until he found the one he was looking for and swallowed it quickly.
His wound bled with prominence, but as he took the potion, he placed his hand on the wound, and when the effects of the potion were activated, the wound closed.
Terrified, the hunter looked at the wolf on the ground, and without the slightest hostility, he took his rifle, and pointing at the wolf, he pulled the trigger and smashed the animal’s head.
Erika’s injured hand healed instantly, and she, without her bow, looked like the man was walking towards her taking the ax from the wall.
