In front of him, Cecil was still standing, but behind him, he felt someone’s arms wrap around his abdomen, and he firmly felt the force of that man who was hitting him against the wall abruptly. Joshua entered the wall of that house, destroying the furniture and falling to the ground, floor sore, getting up, looking to the side, and taking a deep breath, he said, “Gerard is at the back! Watch out!”
The werewolf turned quickly and saw a huge scythe swing towards him, dodging his torso back to avoid the savage blow only to see it land in the firm hands of Cecil, who, taking it by the head, turned on his heel and threw it—speeding into the sky.
From above, Gerard looked at three Cecils watching him from below, but his heart froze when in the air the vampire’s voice sounded clear as he said, “This may be the end for you!”
He turned his head and saw how Cecil next to him gave him a prominent kick with force from above. Gerard descended with so much power that when he reached the ground, he could barely stand on the impact, and looking up, and he saw how Cecil fell on him.
With your knees. Ready Gerard threw a claw to stop his descent with a blow, but his attack went through a disembodied image, and he watched as next to him another Cecil kicked him with such force that it made him roll on the swampy ground.
Getting up, he looked at Cecil, who was attacking him and trying to stand up. He felt a powerful foot on the back of his neck pushing his face against the ground with force, Gerard crashed his face against the mud on the floor, and without being able to move, he heard the vampire say.
“This is what you call humiliation? How can I not do it? I am superior to you. In my opinion, you should get used to treating yourself this way… it is always better than dying!”
But in the last second, when he raised his feet to step on Gerard’s head again, a spear came out of the house to crash into his body. The spear passed through his body as if it were not in that place, and, seeing it, Joshua came out of the room. House where he had fallen while saying, “I see you can make illusions, and it is impossible to really know where you are!”
Walking to the front, he stood next to Gerard, who got up and wiped his face while looking ahead.
“You are going to pay for that!” He roared.
Cecil laughed as he saw the two werewolves agitated and ready to fight, that image had been seen countless times, and the result was always the same. That was the reason why no one was better suited to witness the moon than he.
He was the only one who had the power to represent the goddess of the night on earth and not embarrass her. He was powerful, strong, and without any possibility of losing against any opponent, and the others determined to defeat him did not change anything—vampire, what he really considered himself to be a god.
Bored with what was happening, he looked at Joshua and Gerard, and taking a deep breath, and he said, “It’s time to die, guys!”
And with force, the battle began. Gerard pounced on him, but what hit was the air going through an empty image. Joshua began to turn his spears from all sides, covering all angles to make sure that if Cecil left somewhere, he would receive a blow safe with the spear.
Gerard kept jumping from image to image without the slightest hope of catching him, and this led him to jump to an image, the other spoke, and he thought that the real Cecil was in that one, but taking his attention away from the image in front of him felt like Cecil’s hand tightened on his neck and with a force he used his power to throw him towards Joshua who, seeing how Gerard’s body flew in his direction, had to move to avoid hurting him.
Behind him, Cecil appeared holding his spear and trying to stop his movement, the hand that touched the spear released a lot of smoke when it burned, and Joshua, turning with speed, tried to hit him without any effect.
Away from him, Cecil was looking at his hand, a long time had passed since someone had been able to hurt him, and although technically it was not Joshua’s merit, he still respected the tools.
Joshua looked at him. He did not understand what was happening, but one thing was clear, Cecil was above him in terms of ability and power, he did not know how he would stop that vampire, but he had to do it somehow, calmly thinking he opened his eyes and smiling he watched as Gerard appeared next to him and said,
“I think there is a way we can fight!”
Joshua looked at Gerard and he, annoyed and irritated, nodded when he said, “Good! Just a few minutes to kill this bastard, then we get back to our fight!”
Joshua nodded and, looking straight ahead, said, “Illusions are odorless! He can make them talk and move, but he can’t make them smell like him. If we focus on that, we will know when it is him and when it is an illusion!”
Gerard looked at him and, nodding, closed his eyes. He didn’t really need to close them, his nose would work perfectly, but when he opened it in his mind, a new resolution had appeared. He had to kill that vampire at any cost.
Both rushed at the same time and, with force, jumped on the images. Gerard and Joshua inhaled the air to try to establish where the enemy was, and both could find him without problems.
