“Don’t get this attack!” Nate said with difficulty as the Ancient lifted the second ball, firing it hard at her.
Seraphim, the young woman, without waiting for a single second, cried.
“Celeritas!”
That increased her speed, and with it, she evaded the attack without stopping, running quickly around the edge of the room.
The Ancient was about to use the balls again, but when he pulled the chains to use them, he saw in front of him how Nate took the chains with his hands to prevent him from moving them.
The veins on the boy’s arms showed the enormous force he was generating to keep the Ancient captured, and Seraphim, who still had her sunburst spell on, began to strike one after another on the Ancient’s face and torso from the side.
“If one is not enough! I will give you a thousand!”
Seraphim’s blows were wreaking havoc on the Ancient’s skin, who, leaning back, moved away to kick the young woman. Seraphim took a distance to dodge the kick, but when the Ancient one put his feet on the ground with force, the entire cavern trembled.
Seraphim lost her balance for a second, and that was enough for the Ancient to take the chains, and using more force than Nate could contain, he shook them with force, crashing the young man’s body to the ground.
Upon receiving that powerful impact, Nate released the chains momentarily as he cursed, “s**t!”
But when he tried to take them again, the Ancient was already reaching out his hand to take Seraphim’s neck and kill her. The witch was defeated when a silver spear flew all over the place and embedded itself in the Ancient’s hand, burying it in the wall behind her.
Seraphim managed to escape from him by making space between her and the vampire.
She looked at Nate, who was bleeding deeply from his nose, and both were looking towards the door. They saw Edith and Joshua entered through the front door.
Joshua was pulling his spear towards him, and Edith, looking at Seraphim, asked anxiously, “Are you okay, Seraphim!?”
Just as Edith spoke, the girl came towards her.
Joshua looked at her with concern as well.
Seraphim nodded in acknowledgment before she said, “I’m still okay. I can see you brought it back.”
Joshua smiled and, ahead of the four, saw the vampire in front of him.
Looking at Seraphim, he handed him the spear and said, “Hold it for me! I will do this in another way!”
The vampire saw him directly, and Joshua smiling, said, “I must thank you, my interior was a disaster... but thanks to you, I managed to understand something important.”
The puzzled vampire looked at him and lifting one of his giant balls, and he threw it at full power against him. Joshua raised one arm again and, with that arm, stopped the impact. However, his body was pushed back a little.
A lot of black hair began to come out of his skin, and his body began to transform.
Edith took a step forward but Joshua, smiling, winked at her and, seeing her, said, “I will not forget who I am! Never again, Edith!”
She nodded, and Joshua transformed into a huge werewolf looked at the Ancient. Edith and Seraphim saw him, and his transformation looked very different.
He knew he was bigger, and he looked considerably stronger. His wolf features were more aesthetic, and with a canine grin, Joshua attacked.
The Ancient attacked with his other ball, but Joshua deflected it without problems and jumping in an attempt to bite his neck.
The vampire put both hands on Joshua’s shoulder, stopping him, and the two had a powerful duel of strength.
The vampire clenched his muscles tightly, trying to stop Joshua, but the werewolf was stronger, and little by little, he gained ground.
With force, the vampire hit his leg, causing Joshua to stop his impulse for a second, and when he was about to hit him, Nate, from the side of the werewolf, came delivering a strong punch that made the vampire crash against the wall.
Joshua took advantage of this moment and threw two claws that were destined to slice the head of the Ancient, but this, dodging him, with force jumped and moved away from both.
Nate grabbed the Ancient’s throne and, taking it off the ground, and he asked, “What’s going on!? Did you have to run?”
And throwing it with all his might, he directed it to his father. The vampire dodged him, but in his flight, he ran towards Seraphim, who was waiting for him, screamed, “Maximam Fortitudinem!”
With that spell, he delivered a blow that stopped the vampire in place, only for Edith to touch his torso and say, “Mortem a Shoveling!”
From Edith’s hands and contacting the vampire against the wall, a huge number of stakes appeared, all ripping the inside of the vampire and impaling him hard against the wall stopping his attacks and making his skin take on a whitish appearance.
“You damn well deserved it!” Seraphim said, who, standing next to Edith, saw how the vampire lost the coloration in his skin.
Something was not right, they both thought that when this vampire died, he would become dust like the others, but at that moment and in an unexpected way, the vampire looked up again.
His face showed white skin, almost like papyrus, and his fangs were growing more than normal.
When the vampire, detaching his body from the wall, pounced on them to pierce them with huge claws.
In a fraction of a second, the huge body of the werewolf intervened with the attack receiving the two Claws of the Ancient one on his back, while Nate, landing on the shoulders of the werewolf, jumped on his father, crossing his body and taking him from behind to crash him against the stakes in the wall.
