LVIII: Kill Yourself

1015 Words
With an evil grin, Dominic arrogantly asked, “Will anyone fight me in this place!?” Just as he said that, Dominic noticed a hunter who was about to climb like he was using this action as a way to escape. “Oy! Stop right there!” Dominic yelled at him, specifically at that hunter The hunter was surprised by what the man had done, asked full of disbelief and caution, “What the fvck are you? Dominic looked at him with slight disappointment and said, “It doesn’t matter! You are good at hiding, and I almost missed you!”   After speaking, he casually created a knife and threw it towards the hunter. The hunter managed to evade by turning on his back, dodging it.   Dominic frowned in displeasure when he said this. He then let out a disappointed sigh before saying, “Just let yourself be killed. I don’t have time for this!” The hunter scoffed and took out a potion. He said coldly, “I don’t know what you are, but I will kill you in this place, and then I will kill the witch at the top!” “Trust me, and nothing would do me better than to see that damn witch die! But now, my hands are tied. So I’ll kill you first!” Dominic replied while staring at him as if the hunter’s fate was sealed to death. Before Dominic could take action, the hunter’s blue veins began to sprout. “I don’t think you can do much now,” the hunter said smugly. His voice was noticeably hoarser than before, as if his physical appearance was not the only one changing. By joining his hands, the hunter activated the gift that had been taken, and the dead bodies at the entrance rose. Dominic what the hunter did and thought it was interesting. He crossed his arms over his chest and watched further. With a smile, he commented, “That’s a good trick.” The hunter gritted his teeth, and he was trying hard to ignore Dominic’s current action. He concentrated on his magic, and it did not take long for the corpses to start moving. The corpses then all took their respective potions, which had the gifts of dead sorcerers, and ingested them. Everyone, despite their condition, got the gifts and the hunter on the second floor said, “We all have only twenty minutes to kill that guy. Don’t hold back!” The dead who had just risen smiled, and one of them creating two swords in his hands smiled as he pounced on Dominic. He fell back and tried to defend himself, but another of them appeared behind him, who had his body had grown a lot. At that moment, the corpse was nothing but a mass of enormous muscles that hit Dominic with force until he crashed out of a wall of the building. For the last of the lifted corpses to raise both hands and try to roast Dominic with powerful flames. The fire surrounded him, and from the ceiling, Stella saw what was happening. She frowned at this. Though she knew that it was not easy to defeat Dominic, she still did not like the idea of him being pushed around.   With that in mind, she raised her hand and pointed at Dominic. If she did not release the seal of God, Dominic would not obtain his immortality, but if she did, he would definitely be uncontrollable. But when the flames ceased, Dominic appeared behind a huge iron shield and saw the three opponents, and he said, “I may have underestimated them a bit, but that’s over!” Putting himself on guard, he prepared to face the opponents. With a grin on his face, he pounced on them in an instant. He liked it when the fight was exciting enough. When was the last time he had such entertaining warm-ups? So he might as well take advantage of it, right? With that in mind, Dominic had entered the fray, but Stella still didn’t know if that would be beneficial to her. Edith was in the pharmacy, healing was complicated, but at least with the pharmacy implements, the wound could be treated so that it would stop bleeding. While she was healing, she heard fights and explosions in all directions, and the idea was reproduced in her mind that the enormous amount he fighting that took place in that city made no sense. On the one hand, Seraphim and Nate were the only companions she had, and Stella was the other person present in that place. Only four possible battles should be happening, but the chaos in the city was incredible. Getting up, she was preparing to leave the door when a young man walked in. When she saw him, she prepared to fight like him, but at the moment where he raised his hands, Edith understood that he was not a witch hunter. “Who are you?” Edith asked cautiously with her hands wide open, ready to attack or chant anytime. The boy stopped and glanced at Edith. He replied expressionlessly, “I’m Tommy, and you?” Edith stared at him for a moment before she answered, “I’m Edith. What are you doing in this place, Tommy? You don’t look like a witch hunter!” Tommy shook his head. As entering the pharmacy, he sat on the floor and said, “I’m not. I am a sorcerer, and they brought us to this city as fuel to create their stupid barrier.” Edith’s eyes widened in surprise, and looking at the boy, she questioned, “Wait, Wait, what? What do you mean?” The young man got up and, looking at her, explained, “They captured a witch, and the witch designed the barrier that covers the city, but as fuel, she put the blood of the sorcerers. Very kind of her… that’s why they brought in many of us, released us in the city one at a time, and killed us to keep the barrier active.”
