I watch as Iniko and Brooke walk into the dining hall.
“Did you feel that power?” I ask Cal quietly.
“How the hell could I miss it?”
I look at my son. “It felt as if he was as strong as you.”

“Emmi doesn’t have class until Tana’s fire class which is after the mate bonds class that Iniko and Brooke will be in. We should meet while they’re in class,” Kaylani says.
