Chapter 10

Then sun beat through the window and was burning a line into the side of my face. Hasn't anyone ever heard of blackout curtains? I sat up and rubbed my eyes groggily before looking at the empty couch. So much for talking this morning, I checked the clock and it was after 8 am. Maybe I can sneak out before everyone is awake. 

I slipped from the bed and threw on clothes that were laid out for me. A pair of dark skinny jeans and a loose fit black t-shirt and some socks. I really need to venture out and find my backpack in the woods so I can get my shoes. I walked around the room exploring when my eyes landed on the closed door. 

'Your curiosity is going to get us killed one day' 

'Well good morning to you too wolf' I said before cutting the link. I reached the door and tried the handle but it was locked. Damn.

"What the hell are you doing?" I jumped and turned around to a pissed off Alpha.

"Exploring genius."I said before seeing the food on the plate he had, making me realize I haven't ate in a few days. Maybe I'll get a hunt in while finding my bag. I looked past him to the door and back to meet his eyes.

"Here, eat." He threw the plate down on the coffee table in the study before walking into the bathroom.

My stomach growled as I eyed the food. Should I? No, f**k him and his delicious waffles and eggs. MMM.. No, no I will get my own food like I always do, plus I really need my bag before someone else gets to it. 

I left the food and walked out the door and started down the steps towards the kitchen then the front door. Halfway down the steps of the front porch I head a familiar voice and turned my head in the direction of the man. Sure as s**t there he was, Ron, the guy from the bar and he stopped talking as soon as our eyes met. He looked mad and I didn't care to stick around. I continued walking into the woods, trying to sniff out where I dropped my bag at before I punched Hakan yesterday. I knew I was being followed by Ron but I didn't care. I needed my phone to call my aunt again. She's been MIA for too long and I'm starting to actually worry about her. She's all I have left of my parents now, she knew my mom before I was born and there is still things I want to know, to learn. After walking for miles I've finally reached my bag I quickly pulled my phone out and dialed Jeas number after two rings someone answered.

"Hello!? Aunt Jea can you hear me?" Nothing

"Jea its me are you okay? I've been trying to reach you for months where are you?!" I pleaded, but was still met with silence. A few second later I finally heard breathing on the line, I felt relieved but then shivers were sent down my spine when the voice spoke. 

"Jea is dead pup, and you're next." The mans voice said before ending the call. I tried to dial her number again but my phones battery died. Tears started falling as I fell on my knees. I have no one left now, I'm alone with no information on what my mother was, or how my parents died. I barely even got to experience them while they were alive and now the one person who has taken care of me since their death is dead. 

I was about to get up when I started feeling this pain in my chest, I knew what it was. Hakan was with another person. Once you find your mate, cheating on your mate will cause the other excruciating pain. I grabbed at my chest, clawing at it to stop. I was in so much pain that I didn't notice that Ron crept up behind me until the blow came to my head knocking me onto the ground. I could fight him and win without a doubt, but my last family just dies, my mate who refused to let me reject him is with someone else and he is probably responsible for my parents death and I'm alone. I just lay there and let Ron beat me, what a way to go. I laughed in my head knowing Akira was getting weaker with every blow to us. My face was covered in so much blood that I was unrecognizable. I didn't care, I felt Ron unbutton my pants and slide them down. My body was too weak to fight and Akira was too weak to heal me.

"Stupid little slut, I'll show you who is boss." Ron said as he slid my panties off. He enter me hard and the motion made me turn my head and vomit up blood.

I lay there motionless and making no noise and he continued pounding in and out of me.I felt nothing, I went numb before he even hit me, the pain of loosing Jea and my mate at once was too much. I am a shell with nothing to live for. Hopefully he finishes soon because I'm ready to see my dad again. I just want him to hold me and tell me that its alright like he used to when I would fall and get hurt. 

"We're always here Skai" I heard a voice whisper to me, I tried to open my eyes to look around but I was too weak. My body was falling into darkness and I wasn't going to fight it anymore. I wanted to die, I was happy thinking I would see everyone who ever loved me again. I would see her again, the only person to truly know and love the real me. Henly suddenly appeared in the darkness.

"Jax is coming, hold on babygirl." She was crying while stroking my cheeks.

"I miss you Hen, I can't hold on anymore. We can be together again, just the two of us in love and together." I whispered before everything went black.
