I saw many elders talking on benches and on the side I'd the streets, young men pushing fast food carts over the road and many more teenagers skateboarding.
The morning sunshine wasn't a waste to them as it shined on their heads, giving them the energy to use their strength to the fullest, even the kids onced loved it and the way the spoke was faster than normal

Nicole pointed at a building, it was the most beautiful building around here. There was a billboard before it and the name of the restaurant was written on it
"Tasty Christian Chicken"
Compared to the old signage, the words were very clear and similar to the eyes catching red chill.
Before I truly approached the restaurant, my nose picked up an aroma
Judging from the smell, I could make out that whatever is it that the smell came from must be bitter. The aroma kept haunting my nose, it was pungent and my mouth was tasting bitter. I ignored the bitterness of the aroma and then I could smell the aroma of frying meat.
Perhaps, the bitterness of the food might make one lose interest in the food but I'm sure once I e taste it, things would be different. The mouth would salivate and the tongue would request for more, one won't be easily satisfied by such foods.
I paused slightly and took a deep breath, my nose adapted to the smell that came from the restaurant
I felt the bitterly sweet aroma run through my nasal passage and I curled up my lips
"Very nice" I commented
"I know you will like it Mr. Levin! Other than Will, no one will dislike this place" Nicole was paying attention to the smile on my face and he smiled as well.
"Boss, even if Mr Levin acknowledges your taste, it will not charmy thought about Tasty Christian Chicken! It is a chicken that takes you to hell, their food is boiling like magma. Mr. Levin, I suggest you leave right away, snacks on me"
Will's voice could be clearly heard as he badmouthed the restaurant.
He had more reverence for me, that is because I just took out The Predator, King Kong and Bone Cracker all alone
"The beauty of the food is that it will allow you to feel the bitterness of the world and also help you in deriving a sweet taste from the bitter one" Nicole commented on the food
"Nevermind your boss Will, but snacks cannot be compared to food as good ksdt longer than snacks. Of course you owe me a set of burgers"
I said while pushing the door open as if I was eager to taste the food.

The restaurant behind the door was not big, there were tables and chairs that were arranged in a part of the restaurant,the other part was used as the place where food was served and another part which also leads to the outer part of the restaurant was used for cooking.
A scrawny man that was standing at the place where food were served walked up to us when he saw us came in and he said "there are limited food on the menu curtis but if you have a meal in mind and I can make it, I will try my best to serve you the best. So what will you be having today my dear Sir?
I sat on a chair, a cup of water was placed before me and the owner who was scrawny from his face down to his physique was waiting patiently for my reply.
Nicokywho was supposed to be after me into Tasty Christian Chicken vanished without me knowing
After sizing the new surroundings, I raised a puzzled brow.
[The Holy Veil]"s sight enabled me to know the difference between a real and a fake thing. Everything in this restaurant is real, even the ingredients in the cooking aroma…except for the owner who is attending to me.
The scrawny owner who looked like a human being was different in Holy Veil's sight. It was viewed like a light void in human shape trying to replace someone
More importantly, Nicole, who is supposed to be behind did not appear, the schemer's target should be Nicole.
I didn't know the schemer who planned this achieved his sin but I do know something more terrifying and more dangerous would be awaiting Nicole wherever he is.
I understood the schemer has nothing to do with me but with the plan he or she made, I will be like a fish in the most when the castle caught fire, a innocent bystander got caught within terrors and since I will be the only one present, I will be the one to carry the blame if anything happens.
I took a deep breath and took another look at the owner of the restaurant
If it was possible, I already have my own plan and didn't want to get into Nicole's own but with the incident at the moment, it wouldn't be appropriate if I just leave.
"Dear Sir, what are you having today?"
The restaurant owner asked again following my reaction and gaze; he spoke like a human. One could even consider his acting as better than common human's. Despite his words sounding rush, his tone was still peaceful
I didn't answer, rather I leaned back at the chair, place my right hand on the table and tapped my finger
"Dok,Dok,Dok"
When my finger tapped the table a rhythmic knocking echoed throughout the restaurant.
"I want to try everything that you can cook, if you can satisfy me, I turn a deaf ear about what you just said now, if you can't, I'll turn you into 'his' desert"
I spoke slowly, at the same time I slightly loosened the restraint on my overall ratings
Immediately, the spirit energy filled the restaurant and the most primitive ghostly aura followed it. It was as if they were chains from the nether world shackling the restaurant owner.
