Meanwhile inside Tasty Christian Chicken, I was holding the knife and fork , softly cutting the price of lamb shank.

Cinnamon powder and another black ingredient that I do not know we're spread over the lamb shank. It made the meat looked like it was burnt on the outer part but by touching it, the softness of it would make one think otherwise

Especially the essential part of the lamb shank, the tip of the bone where the fat and leaner meat converged, it was rooking with smell of a bitter food making it difficult for one to start eating

I held on and started eating the food on the plate, while eating, I felt a vibration from The Holy Veil, I neglected it and continued eating.

The Holy Veil vibrated more, the vibration went through my senses and the speed in which I ate was raised. In few seconds, I finished the meat which was irritating to me few minutes ago

It was respectful to finish off the food despite how terrible it was

It was compassion to scold the chef when the food was terribly prepared

I don't even understand how I was able to eat the food without hesitation.

After crossing the knife and fork on the plate, my finger started tapping the table again.

I tapped for a long time that my finger started to hurt me, but I was able to keep time by tapping the table and I know Nicole has spent a lot of time in the place he is

"Nicole hasn't shown up, could the situation be more difficult or is there a back up plan?" I asked myself

Just as I was trying to think of what might be wrong with Nicole, Will's voice entered my ears

"What's wrong Will?"

Without a second thought, I asked Will, I was able to make out what his abilities were from the last fight in the office

Will took a breath of relief but he still spoke with such a heavy tone that one could feel his pain

"Nicole was transported to West Golf by The Vanisher's trap, we don't know what the bastard wanted to achieve but it is nothing good for this city or North Gold. Mr Levin, in afraid we might need your help"

Will said quickly and the lady part with a pitiful tone

"Sure, I'm here to help pay from any trouble that might befall them, I'm happy when I am able to perform my responsibility"

According to the guild, to be promoted from one lead member to the next , one will need contribution points. To have contribution points, one only has to work hard when the guild sends them on missions like this. I cannot wait to get promoted so to qualify for promotion, I must use every opportunity that comes my way so I had no choice but to accept to help the Northern Superhumans

Fire Mage on the other hand is a jealous guy, he won't work with someone as strong as he is" Carter answered to his best knowledge

"That means whatever plan is it that The Vanisher had, he is working alone?" I asked Carter to confirm

"Yes. From the very beginning, The Vanisher has always worked alone" Carter nodded

"So how many men does he have in this city?" I continued

"A lot. The Vanishers' abilities are strong enough for him to get as many men as he wants working for him. In fact, his name alone was able to attract super villains. After All, a lot of them lived using an overwhelming number of people to bully the weak and they fear the strong" Carter was showing a slight sense of disdain in his words.
