Linea rested in bed listening to the sounds of the morning in Master Donovan's home. She heard the faint sounds of pans rattling on the stove, the chattering of morning DJs on the radio and the cooing and clucking of Hector after Master Donovan would have removed the cover from his cage. The smell of fresh coffee and warm toast wafted into her nose, reminding her she must arise and face the music of her decision.
