I was still staring at Azrael because my heart couldn’t believe that what I heard was right. I felt that my hands were shaking but this time it wasn’t because of fear.
Azrael turned to me, and he said:
“I am sorry Foxy, but you need to understand that in this world only the strongest will survive and you know for yourself that the witch queen is the strongest one.”
Then he turned back to the witch queen, and he said:
“My queen as you see I am on your side. As you see I brought to you Lachesis and I can reassure you that soon you will have her sister Clotho as well. After you get both of them there will be no one that would dare to stand against you.”
When I heard those words something in me died. I thought that I can believe him and now I found that he betrayed us. I was disappointed
