When my sister was done with her story, I sat beside her in the bed and now I was the one that took her hand in mine. It was heartbreaking when I heard about Dunamis, the friend that she lost. I couldn’t just sit next to her and do nothing when I imagined what she has been through. Neither of us has obviously an easy homecoming. I wanted to tell her that now we were together and together it would be easier to handle everything that is still waiting for us, but I remembered that soon I will leave her. Instead of some empty words I stayed just silent hoping that at least my presence would help her.
