When I saw Dad fell down and went unconscious, my senses collapsed as well. Flare tried to shake me but I became frozen staring straight at his goosey face as panic flooded my mind.
The next thing I knew was me pacing back and forth wondering what was going on inside Dad's bedroom.
"Kasalanan ko 'to. Inatake si Dad dahil sa 'kin..." I mumbled then I pressed my lips together into a thin line, preventing myself to weep, though I failed to control the beading of tears in my eyes.

I raised my head and turned to the direction of the staircase. With the sight of Katya, the pain and guilt that filled me for hours had lessened.
