The new week started in the most annoying way for me. I woke up with this pressure in my chest that wouldn’t go away. I kept thinking about Carlota and the deadline I gave her. I said twenty-four hours, but somehow I ended up giving her the whole weekend. I didn’t even plan it. I just forgot it was a weekend. Maybe I let her off too easily.
