Paxton’s POV I tossed on my bed in deep pain while my wounds healed. It was spreading all over my body like someone had poured fire into my bones. I kept trying to hold it back but I ended up letting a groan slip out because I couldn’t hold it back at all. I couldn't stop thinking about the incident while I was still in pain.
