STRANGE NIGHT {LET HER GO}

2167 Words
It was a beautiful evening. A soft and romantic one. The stars were glistening happily up the sky. The moon brightened, wholly unveiling its magical charm and mammoth capability. As it radiated its natural luster light, it harmonized with the beauty of the night right on earth, creating a symphony of epic and starry wonder. The celestial union specialized each creature on earth and circulated a heartfelt beam on people's faces. The night was young, full of promises, and breathtakingly beautiful. Two angels walked into a massive, stupefying building, which seemed highly sophisticated on its own. Its compound was quite huge and sandy, which made some sense considering the building was nestled among beautiful trees and woods, surrounded by a tranquil atmosphere. A nearby pavement road provided easy access, but the hall's peaceful vibe remained untouched. The massive hall also featured an expensive open-plan interior with polished floors and minimalist decor that perfectly complements the serenity of the exterior atmosphere. The hall seemed to exist on its own, perfect for hosting high-profile events or serving as a luxurious retreat. And was entirely bathed in fluorescent brightness all over that dramatically heightened the astounding beauty of the lady and the handsome young lad that just walked in. Nope... He's not a man; he's a young lady cladded in men's wear, tagging alongside a strikingly beautiful damsel imitating an ocean goddess in red. Startling almost the entire crowd with her unbelievable beauty. They were undoubtedly awed as their eyes flashed all over her with replicates of gasps indicating a WOW. To them, the sight was breathtaking as she's prototypical to the word 'A sight to behold'. An epitome of awesome breeding. Her reddish, off-shoulders princess dress slipped off her grasp as she couldn't help the ecstatic awkwardness that enveloped her at the moment. So she walked carefully with a shy, docile smile. It's not quite normal as everyone looks as though she is the only sight left to be seen, and that only causes goosebumps to crease her skin. Her lustrous black hair was beautifully styled in beautiful coils, specializing in her docile nature. The duo walked to a couple's table and took their seats. Katherine was putting on a huge, oversized red long pants and a long, white polo shirt that had a frontward design. A half painting of a female scary and half-naked vampire, gritting her long fang teeth with blood spilled all over her mouth. Accentuating her outfit with a black faded face cap and black shoes. Great lord, the dressed-up fit in a great deal, suiting her boy-like nature in perfection with her unique sense of style. If there's a dress code for that party. She would have been respectfully walked out by the guards right now. "Kathrine, it's so embarrassing; I feel kind of weird; why's everyone staring at me like that? I think my dress is kinda too long." Roseline complained in a mutter. "Can you just stop being a shy baby for now, Rose? You're my Val, okay? They're watching, then let them watch babes." She frivolously muttered back. Just that moment, a man appeared with a fancy tray of wine and two white glass cups. He filled in the cups and respectively placed them on the table. "Mind for a dance princess" Kate interposed with a bright beam." "Stop being all facetious, Kate. You know very well I can't dance, and by the way, I can't even dance like this, okay!." Roseline mumbled between her gritted teeth, trying not to be too loud. She would have smacked her damned head by now If not... Damn it! She pressed her lips together as she threw her head sideways, gently shaking her head at her crazy friend acting all so damn cool like a guy again. Kate signed. At that moment, a red-haired lady came into view with a beautiful beam. "Hi, handsome, mind for a dance with this beautiful angel?" She requested with a slight wave, complimenting herself in between. "Fine. Angel, let's dance," she replied almost immediately, half smiling back. Her voice a bit husky, like daddy's." "Common!" The young lady tugged her gently with a smile, leading her to the dance floor. "I'll be back, princess," Kate said with a sarcastic smile. Roseline nodded with a fake smile as the red-haired girl dragged her friend to the dance floor. She almost stumbled. Bitch! She should have agreed to dance in the first place. That girl was so damn annoying. What if she's a guy? Would she have dragged him off like that, huh? She scoffed and rolled her eyes. The soft music began, slow and romantic. She spontaneously closed her eyes and felt the lovely music. How she loved music and all the jazz. Her head began to sway silently in rhythm with the cool music. "Seems you enjoy music a lot," A husky voice echoed, jolting her out of her lovely mood. Stunned, she gulped. As he been there for long? Her curious mind threw a question at her, a question she had absolutely no answer to. The handsome man just smiled at her reaction. "Cheers," he said, raising his cup. Roseline smiled faintly and cheered with him. "Cheers," she replied with a smile, as they clicked the cups together lightly before she took a sip, then eventually gulped down all in one go. The man tilted his head back as he smiled with a slight wrinkled brow. She seemed weird. "What's your name?" He asked softly. "Roseline," she smiled faintly. "Nice name you got, you know." he complimented her, making her chuckle softly. "So... will you be my val, Miss Rose...?" The man asked politely and sweetly, bringing out a fresh red rose he'd been hiding all along. Roseline took it with a sweet smile and inhaled it. "Thanks, this smells so nice" she smiled warmly. "All for you, beautiful lady. So... Princess, may I have a dance with you If you don't mind?" he offered his hands with the most gentle smile, but she only returned an awkward smile. She gently brushed her neck; she felt somewhat uneasy. "Um... I think I need to use the restroom now. I'm feeling kind of nauseated, excuse me" she explained. "Alright, I'll be waiting for you, angel. Don't make me wait much longer," he said, smiling in the midst. Roseline nodded and smiled faintly before walking away quickly with handfuls of her dress. She made it fast, like Cinderella in a hurry. "Excuse me, please, how do I get to the washroom?" She asked a young lady sitting down elegantly, and the lady pointed in a direction to her, then she left immediately after thanking her. She followed her direction, and she saw a beautiful, narrow hallway with countless doors. At the end of the long passage was an exit door. Her eyes sparkled in amusement as she wondered which door led to the washroom. She turned left, and here it was. She ran inside hastily and quickly moved to the lavatory. She spontaneously jerked her mouth towards the washbasin trying to puke. But she regurgitated nothing. What's up? A while ago, she felt like puking, but her strange body was playing with her... Ugh! She ran some water in the basin and splashed it across her face. Good thing she's not wearing makeup right now... Hell! It could have been a disaster. She's not used to makeup anyway. She breathed in and out, then turned back to leave, and to her amazement, someone was right behind the door. Umm... Looked like that handsome guy who wanted to dance with her. She's yet to give him her answer. But what's he doing here though and... And what's that look on his face? She wondered. "Um... guess you're mistaken. This is the ladies' washroom. I think the men's washroom is the opposite." Roseline said innocuously. The man didn't say a word and took two steps closer at once, and she subconsciously took a step backward. She swallowed hard as she took more steps backward spontaneously until her back hit against the wall making her gasp and flinched at once. She can feel his gaze lustfully roaming all over her body, and it's so damn disquieting. He was wearing a mysterious and terrifying look she couldn't fathom, but an alarm kept ringing inside her head that what was going to happen next wouldn't be a pleasant surprise for her at all. Her brain took over at once, and she shoved him away as he came closer, with all her girl might, and then reached for the door instantly in a fast, dangerous move. She held the doorknob and pressed it down but... Why is it not opening? What! Her brain shut down at the moment and she gasped subconsciously. "Hella no, It's locked!" She muttered and flipped her widened gaze backward leaning her back against the door as she held into her huge dress as if for protection. She flinched as the man grinned and shook his head pathetically with... What's that look? It's so terrifying and awkward. She cowardly gulped. "W...what are you trying to do?" She stammered as a drop of sweat fell from her wrinkled temple. An immense fear wholly enshrouded her mind and sense of thinking. The man didn't say a word. Instead, he moved closer and touched her left bare shoulder. Her heart pounded hard against her chest and she quickly shoved the hand away, her face twisting in sheer disgust. "It's a Val party, darling, let's have some fun," the man said and laughed ridiculously as his gaze lustfully roamed her body. "f**k you!" Roseline yelled and spat on her face, with a crinkle of revolution squeezing her face. The man scoffed with utter disgust and sent a thunderous slap across her face, making her hair cascade down her face. He pressed his lips together in anger and held her at once in a tight grip that meant he was not letting her go any sooner. Fear overwhelmed her, and her eyeballs widened in horror as she struggled hard to let go. The man whirled her around in a sharp move and pushed her back with a force that sent her to the floor and almost hit her head against the wall. Her eyes blazed with terror, and goosebumps crawled up her skin as the jerk took more steps forward. She swallowed her dried spit and sat up immediately. Then she crawled back hastily in anxiety. "Help! Help! Help!" She screamed out apprehensively. Her eyes almost bugging out of its socket. "Shut the f**k up." The man slapped her aggressively, then grabbed her chin at once, and she nearly collapsed in fear. He slammed her back against the cold wall, the shock of the impact vibrating through her whole system. Then his grip on her chin tightened, his fingers digging vehemently into her tender skin. Then, he brought out a knife and pressed it against her neck. The cold metal biting atrociously into her skin. She gasped loudly, and cold shivers ran down her spine, her heart rapidly slamming hard against its rib cage. "No... I beg of you, don't do this, you're a nice man, let me go, please," Roseline begged In fear as a stream of tears flowed down her cheeks spontaneously. "Shh." The man shushed her up and smiled maniacally, shattering her hope completely. "You know, when I saw you, I never assumed you'd look so beautiful when scared. Until now," he whispered, his cold breath settling against her ear. Roseline's breaths got caught in her throat. She tried to push him away, but it was impossible; her efforts were barely insignificant. Making her feel as if she's rooted to her current spot. He seemed ten times stronger than she could ever be, especially when he was using extra force on her. Fear and disgust clawed at her chest at the realization of her helplessness, and how awfully she was trapped at the moment. Her uneasiness escalated with each passing second. Then the rogue man moved further, attempting to sweep back her hair, but she shook her head in protest. She shivered realizing the implications of what she had just done as the man's eyes now scorched with intense fury. Suddenly, his grip on her tightened even more, and he hardly pressed the knife against her skin, making her bleed. She winced in pain, and a drop of blood slithered down her throat and got lost in her cleavage. Hot tears streamed down her cheeks. The salty tang of tears mixed with mucus, filled her mouth as she groaned in pain, her voice barely above a whisper. As if the sight was all he needed at the moment, he grinned in satisfaction and the next second, his hands swiftly held her dress arm and were about to rip it then... "Let her go," The sudden sound of a low, husky voice cut through the air, sending a wave of shivers down her spine.
