Unexpectedly, Xavier bursts into the room an hour later. I try to smile, but part of me is broken. It's as though it is nearly impossible to smile.
Xavier doesn't let that affect him. Rather he pulls up a wheel chair, and carefully picks me up, setting me down gently into the chair.
"What? What are you doing? What about what Dr Lawson said? I'm supposed to be on bed rest for a couple more days at least." I say, confused at what is going on.
