I wake up during the middle of the night, Xavier's arms still wrapped around me in a firm embrace. I look over to see Xavier asleep in the bed beside me. I look over at him, and watch his chest rise and fall. He looks so peaceful when he's sleeping. I hate to disturb him, but I know if I don't, I will lose the chance to tell him. He's been patient with me all this time. But I know he deserves answers.
"Xavier?" I say, as I gently shake him.
"Hmm?" He moans softly.
I try not to laugh, as he begins to stir.
"Is everything alright Little Bear?"
"Hmm. Oh yes. I just wanted to tell you something." I say, nervously biting my lip.
Xavier sits up, watching me. Looking for any signs of what I'm about to say. He gently picks me up, placing me in his lap, my legs to the side.
