We make our way downtown. To my old stomping grounds. I know this city better than anyone. When we get to the first store I want, I stop the car on the side of the street. "Where exactly are we?" Jax says. I can feel his discomfort. I can tell he's never been to this side of town. Which is perfect, because it will make my plan that much easier to execute. "Oh, I just felt a bit thirsty, so wanted to grab a drink first. Do you want anything?" I ask. "No, it's ok, just don't take too long."  "I can't guarantee anything. This coffee shop is quite popular, and they typically have long lines. But I'll do what I can." I offer a small smile, before exiting the car, in the direction of the coffee shop.
