I continue running. I'm not even sure where. My mind has completely taken over my body. I'm no longer in control. It's as though my mind went into a protection mode. It's trying to get me far away from anything that could hurt me. I can barely see, my vision has become blurred from my tears. Without thinking I run into the street.  I hear a loud noise quickly approaching me. I look over to see a large truck quickly approaching. However, I'm like a deer in the headlights. The second my eyes make contact with the high beams, the fight inside of me faded away. Instead, it has me anchored to the ground, preventing me from moving. The truck continues to approach. I can hear the person slamming on the breaks as they honk their horn, hoping that I will move out of the way. The sound of the truc
