BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. The constant beeping sound of her heart monitor, is the only thing keeping me sane at the moment. The room is silent, other than the noise of the machines in her room that are helping to keep her alive. I lean my head towards her hand, placing my forehead against the back of her hand. I'm a complete mess. I don't know what I'll do if she doesn't make it out of this.  Dr Lawson comes in ten minutes later, awakening me from my thoughts.
