(Anna) I spent all night tracking, and I was getting nowhere. Stella told me we were heading in the wrong direction, and I pushed her off because I was following the scent of that stupid shirt Devon had in his hands. When I finally got tired of getting nowhere, I decided to let Stella take over. My bones cracked and stretched as my hands turned to paws and my bare skin grew fur. I shifted, feeling the familiar rush of power and freedom course through my veins a surge of primal energy coursed through me. The familiar sensation of fur sprouting from my skin and my body reshaping itself was exhilarating yet natural. In this heightened state, my senses sharpened, and I became acutely aware of my surroundings. It was then that I realized I had veered far off the trail I had been following.
