Chapter 9

Chapter 9- Rose POV

Saturday- 5:25 pm

Looks like luck is finally on my side I got out of work early today which gives me a little time to get ready for the party. Walking home I am greeted by my precious baby Zeus whos wagging his tail at me, “Ooh don’t you just look so handsome for me! But sorry I’ll play with you in a bit I need to get ready for this stupid party ughh damn Emily I swear.” Putting on my playlist before getting into the shower I get a notification ‘it’s probably nothing I’ll check later’ thinking to myself. Getting out of the shower I get my makeup bag out and start to blowdry my hair. Once my hair is dry I start heading towards my bed and there it is, the dress I bought last night.

Flashback

When Anna comes back she hands me a bunch of clothes and leads me into a fitting room pushing me inside. Looking at the clothes some look decent but they don’t really catch my eye. “Uh Anna there not really working out for me,” I say through the curtain. “Wait to give me a minute I think I found the perfect one.” After a few minutes, I start to get anxious since Anna still hasn’t come back, but before I know it there she is holding out a long deep red silky dress that has thin straps and a slit at the bottom. “Hurry try it on!” Doing what she says I put it on, looking into the mirror I am speechless, the color makes my eyes pop out more, it’s hugging all the right curves and it feels amazing against my skin. Coming out Anna has the same reaction “Oh My God!! That looks f*****g HOT on you!” she says. Buying the dress I thank Anna a million times for all her help.

End of Flashback

Right when I was about to change the doorbell rings. Heading towards the door I open it and right before my eyes are Anna. ‘What the f**k’ I think to myself, she starts laughing realizing I said that out loud my face turns bright red. “You left your ID at the store,” she says holding it out. “Oh god, I’m so sorry I didn’t mean that!” I quickly say. “Don’t worry about it” “Come in, just be careful with Zeus” “Zeus?” and right when she says his name here he comes running towards us wagging his tail thinking it’s time to go for our walk. “HE IS SO ADORABLE!” she says while petting his head. “Thank you and I know right! Oh and thanks for coming all the way here to drop off my ID.” “No problem Amara” “Oh no call me Rose please” “Okay Rose and also I came to help you out with your makeup, I figured you needed some more advice” “s**t your right I bought the dress! BUT WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT REALLY MAKE ME! Ughhhh.” “Don’t worry I have a perfect idea just sit down and let me do my thing,” Anna says winking at me.
