Chapter 1

**Beep Beep Beep**

      7:40 a.m.

Shit! I’m going to be late again!

Quickly getting out of bed, jumping in the shower I’m out in three minutes, changing as fast as I can go, grabbing a black long sleeve and jeans. I’m out the door with my backpack and keys in my hands running to my car. With only five minutes left until class starts, I’m running out of the parking lot and into the courtyard of my school. Opening the door with full force I am panting and speed walking to my seat. I see my two best friends Kelsey and Bianca with big smirks on their faces no doubt about to give me crap for my big entrance to class.

Let me introduce myself,

My name is Amara-Rose Rodriguez but usually, everyone calls me Rose, I am 21 years old, I have long dark brown wavy hair, green eyes, and dimples. My best friend Kelsey who I have known since birth has black curly hair, brown eyes, and killer curves and what stands out is her big ass. She doesn’t talk much but once you get to know her she’ll open up to you. My other best friend Bianca has blond hair, big brown eyes with long eyelashes any girl would kill for. She loves to talk and makes friends easily.

“So you were almost late again this morning,” says Bianca “Oh no really? I hadn’t noticed” I say sarcastically, rolling my eyes. “Hey! Don’t roll your eyes at me” Bianca says flicking me off. “Yeah whatever you say, mom!” sticking my tongue out at her. Looking at her phone Bianca gives Kelsey and me a quick hug before going to her next class. We walk in silence until Kelsey clears her throat, trying to catch my attention, looking up at her I give a ‘what’ look. “Tell me the truth, you’ve been acting strangely for a while now you’ve been late to class almost every morning, you look so tired, please tell me the truth..are the dreams back?” she says with concern in each word.
