Chapter 15- Rose POV
It’s been a week since Emilio and I have seen each other but he would occasionally send me messages throughout the day to check up on me. Ever since that day, my friends have been nothing but a pain in the ass but I’m not so sure if I’m ready for a commitment.
“I don’t know what to do,” I say looking at Kelsey “He makes me feel safe but at the same time I’m not ready for any type of relationship.” “I know what happened to you was so f****d up and no one deserves to go through that and I know you sometimes have nightmares about it but you need to try to move on and I’m not saying it’s going to be easy but you need to start somewhere,” she says. She’s not wrong, I need to try because if I don't, then how can I truly live my life without fear. Hugging Kelsey, I say, “Thank you so much.” “Don’t worry about it, what are friends for,” she says laughing, “But if he f*****g tries anything to you, I’ll personally cut his d**k off.”
“Rose, I need to tell you something,” says Kelsey with a concerned voice. “What’s wrong? Are you okay? I say to her. And she tells me, how someone has been leaving flowers at her front doorstep, random notes under her door, and the occasional feeling that someone is following her. “What the f**k, Kelsey you need to make a police report, that’s not normal,” I say to her. “No, it will probably pass, maybe it’s a prank or whatever,” she says. “And if it’s not?” “It probably is, come on girl, who does that?” “Uhm, I don’t know a f*****g stalker, duh,” I say to her. “Well if it gets weirder, then I’ll make a police report,” says Kelsey.
Emilios POV
Due to some problems occurring at work I haven’t been able to see Rose but I still make sure to check up on her and have my men inform me if anything out of the ordinary happens. Once I’m home I get an idea so I message Rose.
Milo: Hey any plans Saturday night?

Rose: Uhm no. Why?
Milo: Great, be ready at 8 I’m taking you out to dinner

Rose: Are you sure??
Milo: Why? You don’t want to go?

Rose: I do but what about work??? You told me how you had problems
Milo: Don’t worry about them, I’m fixing them

Rose: Alright see you Saturday :)
