“I hear that Gabriel has decided to leave.” Cassian sighs and I smile at him.
“It isn’t your fault, Cassian.” I rub his shoulders and he shakes his head.
“Was I too rough on him?” He asks, and I shake my head.
“No. You didn’t do anything wrong, but I do think that it may be better for him to leave and work under Zach. I think he liked you a bit more than a crush, and the rejection hurt him.” I smile at Cassian and he nods.
“I didn’t mean to hurt him, or to have him leave.”
“I know. It isn’t your fault. I just think that it might also be better for him to move on, you know?” I ask him, and he nods.
