The boys went back to the hotel, and I stayed with Max. “I hope that everything does work out.” I sigh, and Max rubs my hip, holding me from behind. “Do you know what did work out?” He asks softly against my ear, and I smile. “Tell me.” I murmur. “You are my fiancée now. In my opinion, that is definitely something working out.” He kisses my ear. “That’s right. We really did come far, didn’t we?” I giggle, and he chcukles against my ear. The memories all flooding back to me. “We did. Remember when you went after my older brother?” He grumbles, and I laugh. “Your older brother happens to be a charmer.” I tease him. “Maybe he is, but I still got my girl. I also happen to be engaged to this girl.” He kisses my ear softly and lovingly, and I smile at him. “You did get the girl.” I
