I lost my baby…
“I don’t really understand… I was pregnant?” I look at the doctor who nods.
“Yes. Early stages still, but you were pregnant.” She says, and I nod.
“I see. But, I was on birth control till not long ago.” I sigh.
“I understand Miss Gray, but birth control is not one hundred percent effective.” She smiles sympathetically at me, and I nod.
“So, how exactly did I lose my baby?” I ask.
“Your body was put under so much stress. Too much for the baby.” She rubs my shoulder.

“Now, you rest. Your body has been through a lot.” She smiles, and I nod.
