I walk back inside the house.
“We should head back to the hotel soon,” Alex says.
I glance at him. “You guys leaving already?”
He nods. “Yeah.”
Then he looks directly at me.
“You should come with us.”
The room reacts instantly.
Max smiles like he was expecting that. Cassian’s attention shifts fully to me. Francesco perks up, and Enzo watches quietly.
“With you?” I ask.
“All of us,” Alex says. “If you want.”
Gabriel, of course, can’t resist this opportunity.
“Well,” he says lightly, eyeing the group, “that’s a very intimidating offer.”
Lucas laughs. “Seriously. It’s unfair.”
Max shakes his head. “You’re both stupid.”
“I’m just saying,” Gabriel adds, looking at me now, grin soft and flirty, “if I were you, I’d absolutely go.”
I laugh. “I am sure you would, Gabe.”
