Chapter Ten . . . Flashback, Yesterday. . . . “We need to tell Jules everything”, Charlotte said, crossing her arms. “I don’t think she will believe it”, Emmett replied. “Come-on Emmy she has to believe it, she has too plus didn’t she believed that Bennett is a vampire too?, I don’t think there will be any problem making her believe”, she said and Emmett nodded. Yes, she was right though, Jules believed in Bennett’s reality in no time, so there won’t be any problem telling her the whole story. “Okay, let’s say that we tell Jules everything. But, won’t it be too much?, like telling her about her past life, how she was murdered and why she murdered and everything”, Bennett said and paused for a second. “Plus, what if she starts hating me?, after all I am the reason she was killed”, Bennett spoke turning his gaze down to the fall not wanting his family to see his tears. Emmett stood up from the couch and patted Bennett’s shoulder. “She won’t hate you Benny, we are for you. We will explain her everything”, he said, offering Bennett a warm smile. “Okay so, step one is approved by everyone, we are telling Jules everything. Now to make it more easy, why don’t we use-”, “NO”, Bennett cut Charlotte off. Charlotte signaled Emmett through her eyes to convince Bennett and Emmett just shook his shoulder not agreeing either. “Come-on, we have to make her drink the Vigrikurl drug. No human will trust you if you say to them that you know them since their past life, even if you do believe me Benny you will earn a classic slap from her and also the title of “crazy jerk”, Charlotte said making Emmett laugh and Bennett pass her a dead glare. “I think she’s right, the drug will make the situation easy, nothing else. The only side effects are that-“, “Shut up you monkey”, Bennett shouted cutting him off making Emmett laugh again. “This is hilarious”, Emmett commented. “Guys we aren’t using that stupid drug no matter what, I will tell her everything just keep your faith in me and don’t do anything stupid” Bennett said, dead seriously. “Okay, okay”, Emmett said secretly passing a wink to Charlotte saying that we will definitely make Jules drink that drug and Charlotte smiled to his actions. Charlotte cell phone rung. “I think we should go now”, she said, checking the notification, and Emmett nodded. With that they both left. Back to present. . . . “Are you nuts Bennett?”, Jules asked him pulling her self away from creating a bit of distance between them. “Jules, calm down and listen to me. Bryant is a half vampire, and that makes Mr. Richmond a vampire too”, Bennett said calmly. The information was too much to process for Jules. She pressed her temples and let out a deep sigh. She looked up to speak again, not knowing what to say next, but her eyes went to the golden wall clock. “s**t”, she screamed loudly out of nowhere. “What happ-”, Bennett asked worried, but his question got cut off. “My father’s going to kill me, it’s 6:30, I was supposed to have breakfast with my fiancé, I think I should go let’s talk later bye”, She said running out of the room like a bullet leaving Bennett blank. “How can she mention her fiancé before me?”, he pouted. “I really need to break this damn engagement of hers”, he spoke again, irritated. Meanwhile, Jules ran towards her room. She quickly freshened her self up and wore a knee-length black frock. She applied a tiny amount of makeup and since there wasn’t any time left for making a fancy hairstyle, she just did her hair in a messy bun. Furthermore, she grabbed her tiny sparkly purse and left her room. Likewise, she took the elevator and rushed downstairs where everyone was. The elevator door opened and revealing her brother. “Thank god, you are here”, he said, letting out a sigh. “Am I late?”, Jules asked, worried. “Yes lady you are, but the Richmond’s haven’t arrived yet, so thankfully you aren’t”, he flashed a warm cheerful smile. “Richmond’s”, the name, send flashback of Bennett’s words in Jules mind. “Bryant Richmond is a half vampire” The words boomed in her head and she zoned out thinking if it’s true or not. Of course, it was true, Bennett wouldn’t blabber nonsense she thought, but a part of was not ready to believe it. Yes, she disliked Bryant but him being a half vampire something very unexpected. Did Orfeo, her father, knew this?, the question lingered Jules mind. She was so lost in thoughts that she didn’t notice the Richmond’s entering the luxuries dining area. “Jules, Jules”, her brother called her twice, bringing her back to reality. “What’s wrong with you?, Richmond’s are here. Are you okay?”, he asked softly, concerned. “No-nno, nothing’s wrong”, Jules replied with a smile making him convince. “Good morning, Mr. Richmond”, Orfeo greeted while the Richmond’s seated. Bryant sat next to Jules. “Hey”, he whispered to her. Jules didn’t reply him, she just passed a smile. She didn’t want to talk to him. The servants served the delicious breakfast on table and aroma of heavenly tasty food filled Jules nostrils. This was what she needed now, she thought. Bryant grabbed a fork and knife and served pancakes on Jules plate. His actions were sweet, very sweet but behind this colorful picture there was a black portrait hidden Jules thought. “So, how about we tie the knot tomorrow?”, Mr. Richmond spoke. His words sent shivers to Jules spine also making her hair stand. “Don’t you agree, Orfeo?”, he spoke again. “Why not my dear friend, of course I agree with you”, her selfish father said. “But I don’t agree, father”, a voice boomed from behind. Everyone turned their heads to see the owner of the unknown voice. Jules turned too. It was Charlotte.
