Ariana struggles

Nana frowned, she looked at Ariana with disgust.

Ariana was messy and her hair was tangled. Her eyes were red from crying.

Nana I don’t know what came over me that day am very sorry.

Ariana held nana’s leg and was in tears.

Sorry? Isssshhh you don’t have to be sorry,the street is your sweet home.

Nana slammed the door and left Ariana all alone.

Ariana has been on the street for days now, she would go to her aunt house and kept begging, she was not allowed in.

She kept roaming all alone and was soon depressed. Her mouth has not taste food since days,she kept eating from the trash or from people’s left overs.

It’s in the night in the city of New York, the night was cold.

Ariana sat alone beside a club, she released her pain and didn’t notice someone was looking at her.

She cried her heart out, her tears could fill the sea.

Hello are you alright?,a lady walked to her.

Oh are you talking to me?,she quickly clean her tears.

Yes you have been watching you for some minutes now,you have been crying what’s wrong. The lady was curious to know what happen to her.

Ariana looked at the lady who was wearing a very short gown and was putting on heavy makeup.

Nothing ma’am. Ariana didn’t notice she dropped a tear.

Come on you just drop a tear now.the lady use her hand to wipe her tears.

Let me just tell her my problem maybe she can help me. Ariana thought.

Am Ariana right now am homeless, I don’t have where to go. I have not eaten for days,my life has been hell. Ariana blurted and began to cry.

The lady was stunned, she didn’t expect her to say everything so fast, she could not utter a word.

I.....I....am kate so sorry you are seriously in pain. Kate was touched.

Come with me to rest tomorrow we will talk better,Kate suggested.

Seriously but...

Nothing am not a human trafficker I won’t hurt you. She smiled gently.

Ariana nod and then followed her.

Few step away from the club,they reached her apartment.

A two room apartment,a room and bathroom.cloth was scattered all over the floor and make up equipment.

Don’t mind my room I was in a rush that’s why,Kate was embarrassed as she began to pick her clothes.

No problem,Ariana sat on the bed. She has no couches. Her room was decorated with pictures of popular female rappers.

Go take your bath and rest I will come back in the morning dear am off to work.

She ushered Ariana to the bathroom and then left.

Ariana finished bathing and couldn’t sleep for some hours,she finally slept.
