We're Mates

Denise was stunned and frozen. "What are you talking about?"

"Oh, the little wolf doesn't know about it yet, huh? I guess let us just leave it here." Beta Allan releases her from his grip and speaks once again. "If ever you will tell Alpha Sae what happened today, I will make sure to tell him right away. Let's see if he still lets you sleep in his mansion and calls you his mate."

After that, Beta Allan was just gone instantly. Denise was thinking about what he was talking about but she couldn't remember anything about her past that could Beta Allan used to blackmail her. Instead of thinking more about it, she helped herself and washed her hands with water and soap so Alpha Sae wouldn't be able to smell Beta Allan's smell.

She looked in the mirror at the lady's comfort room and fixed her hair up. She let out a sigh and decided to go to Alpha Sae's office after wiping her hands with a clean cloth beside the door.

"Where did you go? I was worried about you." Denise looked at Alpha Sae after she heard him speak. She places her hands at her back hoping Alpha Sae won't smell Beta Allan's smell on her hands.

"I just decided to eat what I bought in the cafeteria." She smiled and walked towards him. Alpha Sae stood up and fixed the papers on his desk. "Will you be heading home now?"

"Yes, I am exhausted already. Do you want to go anywhere you want to?" Denise shook her head in response while helping him fix the papers. "Anything you want to buy some?"

"I am fine for what I have Alpha Sae. You spoiled me too much." Alpha Sae giggled after hearing it. While taking all the papers to the desk, one of the folders fell, and suddenly both of them went to take the folder on the ground but Alpha Sae accidentally touched Denise's hands causing him to blush.

Denise immediately removes her hands from Alpha Sae's touch. Denise can't deny that she somewhat felt something spark after Alpha Sae gently touched her hands. An indication that Sae is also her mate. "You feel it too, don't you?" Denise pressed her lips and looked at Alpha Sae in his eyes.

Everything seems to become blurry and the only thing that her eyes can see is Alpha Sae's face. The Alpha shook his head and smiled. "Don't worry, I still wait until you are ready. I know for sure you are still traumatized after what Alpha Jack did to you in the past. My wolf could also feel it too that your wolf is scared of me. She is scared that I might do something to you"

"I didn't think you could hear it."

"My wolf can hear that your wolf is crying and was also traumatized by what they have done to you. It might be not that strong but I can really feel it. My wolf can feel it."

It is already night and Denise closes all doors and windows just like what Beta Dane instructed to her. Beta Dane also gave her what she needed for the time being since Denise is really scared, she can't fall asleep. She decided to wait until late in the evening however, nothing happened which confused her.

"Is what I saw last night really just a dream?" she asked herself and slowly walked towards the door to take a peek but she didn't sense any danger even her wolf. "The beast is not here." She decided to close the door once again and hop on her bed until her eyes slowly closed and she fell asleep.

Morning came and she received news that Alpha Sae was not in the mansion for now. They didn't know when he be back as his trip for today was urgent and sudden. Beta Dane told her that the Alpha wanted to bid goodbye to her earlier but she was still sleeping. Denise was sad after hearing it, that meant she wouldn't be able to see Alpha Sae for days. What will she be gonna do in those days without him?

"Alpha Sae told me that if you needed something, just tell me. I am willing to accompany you wherever you want to go."

Denise smiled and told Beta Dane that it was enough for her to stay in the mansion. She decided to help the servants in the mansion and try her best to get close to them.

So far, she has friends in the mansion and only two of them. The maids that are designated for cleaning the garden.

'I hope Alpha Sae will go home as early as possible,' she thought to herself.

Alpha Sae was walking downstairs to go to the meeting room where all Alpha's are present. They held a meeting after hearing the news that Alpha Sae was accepting an Omega to become his mate even though he hadn't marked her yet, for them it was a threat. An omega should always stay as an Omega and she is not qualified to become a Luna. The only female wolf that is eligible for the position of a Luna is the daughter of a Beta.

Alpha Sae is now in his chair and all Alphas in the entire Asia are present for this meeting. They are all glaring at Alpha Sae. "I know you already know why we held this meeting. We are pleased to see you here, Alpha Saerrus." Alpha Brim from Ethereal Claws Pack speaks, the first in rank as the largest pack in the Continent.

"And I am not."

"This for our races, Alpha Saerrus. Your pack is the second to the largest pack in our continent. We must not let it slide. It is a threat to our race as a high-rank werewolf. You really want to let an omega become a Luna!?"

"I didn't accept your invitation to this meeting to argue with you and let you control my decision, Alpha Brim. I am here to let you all know that whatever my decision is not your problem anymore. If any of you will try to touch her, I won't hesitate to start a war with you all."

And just like that, Alpha Sae left them hanging and stunned.
