Why haven’t I run away yet? Finn’s question hung in the air between them as he appraised her with a curious, but bemused expression. It was as if he already knew the answer, but Natalie wasn’t quite prepared to admit it just yet. Fortunately, she was saved from answering his question as Chef Carlos made an appearance in the living room. “Here are your tapas,” he explained, setting down two small, rectangular black dishes in front of each of them. The plate was appealingly simple, with three skewered items lined up in a row with edible accents between them. “To start, we have pulpo a la gallega, which is octopus, potato, and paprika. The next is pincho moruno, which are lamb croquette skewers complimented with a potato and sweet onion confit. The last is an Iberico ham croquette. Enjoy
