Chapter Four Elizabeth slumped onto her large dark gray beanbag chair while her long coffee-brown hair was still dripping wet. The curves of the soft yet sturdy chair fitted her perfectly as her body sank into it. Her body was more sore than she would admit to the doctor or her parents. She hadn’t realized she had so many bruises until she saw herself in the mirror after her bath. Still, being able to take a bath in her own home made her feel a lot better already.
