I changed into a wolf and ran outside to see the other wolf, as I looked at it; I somehow knew it was Cayden. He bowed his head low and it was like I knew what I was meant to do next I leant down and sniffed behind his ear to note his scent then I did the same. As I looked at him, I knew that no matter what I would never be alone again, but as I was thinking it I heard the shrieks from the half breed. He came at us fast but we were quicker and leaner, it took us both only seconds to kill him and rip body into pieces somewhere deep inside my mind I knew it was wrong to kill but right now I just wanted to sink my teeth into his flesh and eat. I don’t remember much after that but I woke up bloody on my front porch, I started to cry as I got up and looked at my hands and body. I ran inside and straight into the shower I couldn’t scrub enough to feel clean again until my skin was red rare, after a while I got out and wrapped my robe around myself then fell onto my bed and cried for the worthless life that I took. When I finally stopped crying I got dressed and then went out and burnt the field that we had killed in, I did not want any trace evidence left behind and I did not need Conner to find out. I stayed inside all day after that trying to get ready for the full force of the full moon; I made a quick trip into town and went to the hardware store to get some chains and concrete hooks. He helped me to get everything I needed then I set off home to get ready, I set it all up in my cellar then set up my laptop into the wall so I could still see if anyone was coming. As I started to feel the changes I chained myself and locked the door so I couldn’t get out, within minutes I was changed and all I wanted to go get out and feed but as I pulled at the chains they didn’t give way and a very small part of me was glad. I clawed at the walls until the alarm sounded on my laptop, 4 sensors were going off 1 big black wolf with 11 half breeds. They would reach with house with 10 minutes then there was another sensor by the front gate, the big brown wolf was back again, damn it I knew they would collide and there would be bloodshed. I focused an unchaining the door without breaking it, the need was not for me but to protect, so I think that I was able to channel that into doing the task. As soon as I was out, I ran up the stairs and straight outside then tilted my head back and howled, the brown wolf was the first to reach me. “You have company!” He snapped looking towards the south of my property, I bowed my head seconds later we could start to see them. Finally Conner came in full view he was walking like a man but looked more wolf. “So you are like me.” He smiled at me. “I’m nothing like you, you a monster.” I spat back at him, using all of my willpower I willed myself to look like Conner, everyone watching as I changed again. “Your strong, it takes years to control your changes. You need a strong man to teach you about being a true wolf, your one of the last true female wolves and I will take you as my mate.” I was actually so shocked by that that I actually started to laugh. “In what world would I ever be your mate? Why would you even think I would agree to this?” “What makes you think you have a choice? I will take you by force if needed.” “Not this time Slaughter.” Said someone to our left by the smell it was John. “You have no claim over this girl, she is Lucinda’s daughter.” Everyone went quiet by the name but it did not mean anything to me. “Who is Lucinda?” I asked looking at John. “She was my sister.” He said sadly, wait so if Lucinda was John’s sister and she is my birth mother that means John is my uncle.
