Both Max and Raven had headed home for the winter break. Raven stayed longer, taking a flight almost a week out while Max had stayed for only a couple of days after Luci was let out.
"Are you two okay?" Raven asked, packing her suitcase as Luci helped her. "He didn't stay long and left kind of in a hurry."
"Yeah, we're okay. At least from what I gather." Luci continued helping her pack, sitting down to take a break. Breathing was still a bit hard since she died and was revived, coughing a bit. "Sorry, it's almost all gone." She smiled faintly.
"Don't be sorry. I feel bad leaving you here without anyone, and of course, Max left instead of staying." Raven growled under her breath.
"I'm not his responsibility. Besides, his family is expecting him just like yours is. I'll be fine."
