Christmas came and went. Luci spent most of the time working for Henry, following him around and doing paperwork. She caught on pretty well, and he kept her busy for the most part. Ilya hadn't returned, but she did call once or twice, which Luci had taken them. Snarky comments between them both until Ilya would hang up, leaving Luci smirking.
Henry would watch the interaction with confusion on his face as he didn't always know it was his wife until afterward. He couldn't actually say much because she was very friendly with actual clients. Though he never admitted, he reveled in hearing them make snide comments to each other.
