Margot and Lisette's home was far out of town. Living south in a beautiful penthouse apartment that overlooked the skyline and the mountains around. It was later in the day, but the sky was a beautiful swirl of pinks, orange, and purple.
Their lavish apartment was filled with modern works of art, furniture, and decor that made Luci feel poor. A simple life is what she always lived, but this new look made her feel like she was missing out a bit.
Lisette sat Luci on the soft, pillowy curved couch and drew the curtains closed. Candles lit the home as Margot offered her a drink, then gave Lisette hers, who downed it. The dark living room was glowing in the candlelight as Lisette set up on the table with her cards and some crystals and burned some loose herbal mix in a container.
